Easy to use for the business user
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use as a business user I was able to create my own bot in under an hour, i taught myself as it seems logical and intuitive.
I have read now there is a community addition which will give me more features to play with which is very exciting

not easy to get a copy of for own use with all the features

I was using it to automate tasks complete myself on my desktop.

find a way to get your hands on it and have a play!

Easy to automate manual tasks using the GUI, and implements with most applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process can be improved, to include more configuration options post-installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tasks that take many hours to complete manually. RPA is becoming more common, and allows tasks to be completed faster, in parallel and outside of business hours.
Great ongoing support from the Automation Anywhere team
What do you like best about the product?
The Automation Anywhere team (Customer Managers and technical ) provides great, consistent service and issue resolution. Ongoing support from the senior leadership team at AA has enabled quick resolution of issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been limited negative experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AA is being across different areas of the organisation to help create capacity by automating repeatable and mundane admin tasks to free human capital to focus on higher order, value add activities.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Was playing around with this and Uipath's free trial, and AA was MUCH easier to understand. Took a course and caught on right away. Simpler than you think, don't be intimidated. Others are coding heavy and not everyone has that background.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe better documentation online so I don't have to keep going back to training videos to look up concepts and how-to's.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the automation anywhere is compatible and integrated with other system like sap and Ease of access to the learning material .Most significant is less man power and cost management.to increase better business strategy and achieve the strong business challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have minimal dislikes.No of admin users bot runners and bot creators is minimum.other as of now did not face much difficulties in using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for sales force automation of leads and opportunities and for sending email notifications for the clients and on daily reports ..it is highly beneficial for the reduced cost and minimal work time.

yes i would surely recommend to other firms to build a great business applications to resolve the business challenges.

What do you like best about the product?
The AA team has been extremely attentive to Cardinal. We're still in the early stages of our journey. The talent that AA has brought to Cardinal to support our Bot-a-thon event in December 2018, a intelligent email routing workshop and three day bot development training in February have been outstanding.
From our AA practitioners, I have heard very positive feedback about the easy of use. We saw 5 teams build useful bots over the course of 1 1/2 days. The bots are not quite production ready, but 2 of the 5 are on track to be deployed to production soon.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our ability to move fast on the opportunities for RPA at Cardinal have been a challenge. There is increasing interest here in cognitive automation; I haven't seen enough of AA's roadmap regarding the hybridization of Machine Learning and RPA to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're looking at many opportunities across our many business processes, starting with IT processes. We're starting slowly and carefully but expect to see acceleration in 3-6 months.

What do you like best about the product?
When I try to use IBM RPA I had some treble with underfunding with syntax and have a lot of common questions. Than I start to find documentation and courses in this fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of documentation in AA Help systems. Lack of examples. But all of this I found at the Automation Anywhere University.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am work in IBM partner company and we will provide IBM RPA with AA in Ukraine, Russian an Kazahstan. My role in this as Solution Architect with Business Analytical functions. I responsible for presentation AA to customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recomend try to use AA in different bussines process. You can start automate with first few weeks and make you work easy, increase you time for greate deals and make your company better!

If you have any previous developer experience or technical expertise, you will take quickly to Automation Anywhere and be able to build "bots" fairly easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is marketed as being easy for non-technical business users to use. While the application is quite intuitive, your average business users most likely will not be able to build a "bot" that follows development best practices. Just keep in mind that if business users are creating bots, their bots should be reviewed and hardened by an RPA expert developer before being implemented in your production environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are targeting processes in which simple business rules apply such as data entry.

With great power comes great responsibility. Since this tool has the ability to emulate what a human does on a computer, be sure to consider all security policies in your environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a great product, great vision and i feel energetic here. I enjoy working here and contributing my share. i am bullish about AA and strongly recommend this as a wonderful place to learn and contribute.

I cannot see any cons here currently.Nothing as such to describe.Super tool for RPA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently dealing with csv files and AA is the best tool for my experience and screen recorders and turbo speed is awesome great reduce the time .
A flexible and powerful RPA platform
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere has a good variety of built-in commands, like DB connection, SOAP/REST Web Services and FTP, which saves a lot of time and extends bot functionality for more complex automation scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recorders help to start a task, but then the recorded commands need some (sometimes a lot of) "fine tuning" to work as desired; Control Room deployment has a few issues related with resolution, scheduling and client communication, such that in some situations it doesn't work and doesn' t make it clear where is the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using to automate trouble ticket diagnostics and resolution, and some direct benefits from this automation are improved MTTR (less time to resolve incidents), better service quality and improved customer satisfaction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation Anywhere is a flexible RPA platform, but it demands some knowledge on programming logic concepts (variables, conditional sentences, loops).
With Automation Anywhere it is possible to build and orchestrate a complex and distributed automation scenario, but you'll have to implement a few concurrency control mechanisms along with the tasks.
