What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's not required for a human to have development skills to work with Automation Anywhere. The person can simply drag and drop items. A good point is that normal administrative employees have many transactional activities and the majority of them are not complex in terms of automation. So these employees, if well trained, are capable of developing their own automations, though basic lessons of computing logic are required (user must know at least what an IF means, a LOOP, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't adjust very well programs that interact with Oracle EBS. They work, but still out of sync with the real performance of EBS. The automations are full of instructions to wait a bit, because there's not a native function that would know if the tasks are really going in the exact order and time in EBS window.
Excel integration is poor, though VBA code can be utilized and called from the Automation Anywhere.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple automations that don't involve too much complexity, such as copy and paste from Excel to a web page. Web extracts are the best. The main benefit is gain of productivity. For complex problems, the intention is to use other tools, such as VBA in Excel to do all the rest. The focus of automation is for normal employees (non-IT developers), thus implies in solving simple problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate all the features it has and really ask yourself if you need them. If you have a development team, question twice.

The facility to implement automations through drag and drop funcionalities, the helpdesk support and the deployment support.

There is no possibility to prioritize tasks

Tasks that are repetitive and take to much time for a person to do, like purcharse area.

some tools integration are not complete, missing some important functions

GL Exchange rates loading is a very good example of a project that benefit a lot from automation anywhere since it allowed users to take care of more strategical activities

What do you like best about the product?
It has been a fantastic journey to work with Automation Anywhere till now as it is global leader in the market for RPA. Met with lot of helpful people here & learnt lot of things in different verticals.

I learned RPA and that too AA because to expose my self to reduce the repetitive tasks ti save time when extracting the data from web into csv .Web recorder is used very much.

Cost, tools for monitoring BOTS / infrastructure not versatile

Automation of Shared services. Also integration with other tools was easy which means a complete automation solution for our customers

AA is one of the top Automation tools in general and RPA in particular with good roadmap on Automation. Support for customer is good and consulting too.
Agile response team, easy to train tool, very flexible and informative
What do you like best about the product?
Responsiveness of AA, very agile in response and quick in trouble shooting, very accommodative to our request and flexible. Technology works very well. Good domain expertise who can build a bot in very short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though AA has good domain/RPA expertise in building/coding the bots, there is no much understanding of the process and hence we are more dependent on our process SMEs to provide inputs on work around or process redesign when there is a road block.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary objective is to reduce manual efforts, improve efficiency and quality of output and give back time to our users to focus on more value added activities. In Accounts receivables we are automating Cash application and billing processes, in accounts payables we have automated the payments process which was very manual and many reporting activities which were earlier executed using spreadsheets. We are starting with IQ bots to automate AP invoice processing. In AR we have realized around 10% efficiency as we are yet to roll out the automation to all entities.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how intuitive and user-friendly is AA, as a beginner in the world of programming/developing, AA makes my life simpler,making my efforts more towards the logic of the program and less about the sintax/language.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions don't work as they were suppose to.Object Clonning seems really random sometimes and Image recognition never worked for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm doing works for several areas in my company, it reduces a lot of the manual work force, makes the process faster and more reliable

Customer Support is great and daily issues are getting resolved with high priority and the CSM support is also great.
Easy to learn & use the platform for development. All important connectivity items are included in the side menu and is easy to drag and drop and modify as per requirement.
Architecture is good - Runner, Developer, Control room method is ideal for our business environment.
Security measures and Credential vault features got enhanced in AA v.11.3
The workload management and queue system is a superb idea introduced in the current version.

Too much clutter in new control room dashboard
Bot execution in new control room(v11.3) is taking more time than previous version due to additional navigation added in UI
Bot runners could have a common login control mechanism through control room. So we do not have to maintain password for each botrunners externally.
