Automation Anywhere - the best RPA Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Object cloning is the heart of automation anywhere. It's so simple and user friendly any person who has strong logical ability will be easily able to use this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Image recognition although it is performing well these days but still there is a lot of scope for improvement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated lots of web applications, standalone applications, used rest APIs and almost each functionality of AA. And bang on we were able to deploy the bots on production saving lot of human efforts.

Do not hesitate to jump in the RPA journey with AA. The possibilities for automation are endless.

What do you like best about the product?
While troubleshooting being part of prod team I like the code being compared line by line feature.
Live run on prod machine is good. Unlike uipath, this is more good.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of my dislikes would be changes done to a code. Ideally, if the code has been edited, it shows as changed/edited, but when it comes to a variable that is stored inside, it doesn't. This is a problem because if the changes done to a variable isn't captured/shown, then we might assume that no changes have been made.
Second would be the nest version of AA, which is told to have a flow diagram model rather than a line to line parse.
Being a typical coder persing person, I would prefer line by line code upon flow model.

I have been using AA for my recent client for multiple area of business.

AA is a market competitor for sure.
We as an org were also using other tools like uipath very extensively but at the begining of 2020 we wanted to try AA as an options.
We did mulitple POCs towards the end of 2019 which helped us in bringing AA to our platform.
In early 2020's we brought in AA and the results are awesome.
The wase with which we code, use, experiment, analyse, test, config and deploy is cool.
Try out and experience the best in marker now - AA.
We as an org were also using other tools like uipath very extensively but at the begining of 2020 we wanted to try AA as an options.

The ability to use a single, unified platform to write, execute, monitor, and maintain complex business processes, regardless of their complexity or their scale.

Improved stability by managing risk with regression testing on every build.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike being unable to easily control my environment. For example, if a software defect occurs in an application that I was responsible for creating or maintaining, I am unable to immediately fix it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of the high costs of automating invoice data entry into our CRM. We have used email parsing and then extracting data from pdf to enter into our CRM.
The best benefit we got is an advanced function to correctly parse the pdf and get perfect data. It gives us an optimized process of the flow to work around.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest using automation anywhere if your daily processes are too complex and you want to scale very fast. For example, if you are looking to solve more than 1000+ processes every hour to feed data in your system or process the data to get optimized outputs.

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of content is so good, that enriched me. By means of automation, all the document I have to process that can be done through robotic process automation, through which document can be placed at the right place, that can very much helpful for me to find those documents when it really required.
What do you dislike about the product?
As my requirement is to store the documents at the proper place. Sometimes this automation process cant help me to find a suitable name for that documents so that I can easily save the documents to the actual place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated storage solution, I can find some solution, This automation helps me much to store the different document in a different place, so that when ever it requires I can easily find that one.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and its flexibility to other software, anybody can build a bot even with minimal coding knowledge.
It was flexible to run python scripts as well even though there was no option to run it directly like we had an option to run VBScipt and the code ran successfully.
I Believe this scenario of not able to run the python script directly using "Run Script" command has been resolved in A2019, and it works excellent.

What do you dislike about the product?
Running different scripts as we could run only python or VB, could be made more easier in A2019 to copy and paste the bots to a different control room or a different production environment as it takes forever to check out the bot and then export it and then copy those files and then to finally import it which i personally think is a very time-consuming process.

Manual Tasks which would take hours has been automated which is now taking only a few minutes, including many technologies like PowerShell, SQL, Python scripts, VBScript etc
In A2019 we don't have to install the client separately like we did in v11 as it is online and this saves a lot of efforts installing the client.
I solved many problems integrating other technologies as mentioned above as i was not able to solve those using only automation anywhere and i strongly believe this is very advantageous for Automation anywhere giving an option to integrate other technologies as well in order to achieve tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Automation Anywhere is its ability to create automation about possibly anything. It also provides a free learning course through which anyone can learn automation anywhere. I am a professional RPA developer and I also own an agency which expertise in RPA so with my experience I can say that as compared to other clients in the same domain like UI path studio, automation Anywhere is more convenient and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things that I don't like about Automation Anywhere is that in the free version there are very limited features that can only be used to create limited flows having less complexity. For exploring it completely and learning the advanced use cases we need to have the enterprise edition of Automation Anywhere. Also, the functionalities are very good but if I talk about the user interface it's a bit classic user interface rather than a modern user interface. One more thing that I think can be improved on Automation Anywhere is the performance of the desktop version. When I try and run it on my windows system it causes the system to hang sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of redundant tasks that are there in the businesses. These repetitive tasks cause a lot of time and money to businesses and all of this process can be done just using a single RPA bot. We create RPA bots using Automation Anywhere that does all the work in very less time and saves a lot of money.

You can use it for basically any kind of automation on desktop or cloud as well.

Automation avoids redundant work, human mistakes, speeds work and improves quality. Also ease of use will save complex human work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside can be certain exceptions which only a human can do like in some cases where a decision is to be made which cannot be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to create a virtual work environment. For example we are creating Platform automation using RPA bots for SAP, Oracle and Sales Force integrating with ticketing tools, MS Office and AI applications.
