It was quite good experience working with Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the way metabot can help us to create reusable component very easily. Having multiple options to work with target application and also the way control room and repository helps to make it very easy to maintain and transfer code to another environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly it was good experience but still I didn't like the thing is Dataset. I already suggested my view on how AA works with excel and database data. I am expecting that AA should implement the datatable concept in AA, that would be very helpful and very easy to maintain data from different sources. And it could help to insert data into queue very easily also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Automation Anywhere solving lot of problems for ex. to do big data calculation, automating repetitive and time taking tasks.
Potential on IQBot
What do you like best about the product?
Actually, we are Technology Company. But most of our department has still a lot of paper documents to do our daily operation. So we love Automation Anywhere's cognitive solution so called, IQBot!! We can utilize IQBot to make our operation digital, because it can read necessary data from non readable PDF. We also expect Automation Anywhere to add new function to make it more productive tool for enterprise operations.Especially AI function. We look forward to listening to their product roadmap as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
We hope our business can continue to grow with our new product and strong team to acquire new clients a lot. So we might have so many requirements from respective clients as well as each our own members. In order to utilize IQBot. we need to chase our growth to deploy bot by each format and requirement. Our IT organization and Business organization should have strong relationship to collaborate closely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need to print documents we need for the next process like discrepancy. IQBot can help us extract data from PDF including non readable PDF. So we can focus on more creative jobs for our clients as well as for our company.

Before you start deployment of Automation Anywhere, you need to involve between IT organization and Business organization to analyze your current processes and the potential of Automation Anywhere. I think there are a few sweet spots to start RPA Journey in your organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is easy to operate tool to automate any business process. All the commands are drag and drop and easily available in the task editor.
We can use the Recorders (Smart, Web and Screen recorders to record the business process steps.
We can use Metabots and DLL to automate the repetitive process and can be used multiple time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Automation Anywhere is not useful when we come across the unstructured data. OCR capabilities need to be improved.
No customization of AA tool is possible.
Need to provide support for more database other than sql and oracle.
Provide the more api related access.
Also should provide access to customize the platform as per our requirement.

We automate the customers business process. we developed the bots to automate the ERP and financial processes. Also automates the month end and onboarding process.
It imporves the speed and saves the cost of project and process.
Also for a developers it is very easy to use tool. There are 500 plus commands are available.
we can use the same bot multiple time in multiple automation.
also the control room provides the centralized functionality
from CR any one can control bots and bot runner matchines.
Also control room dashboard provides the graphical view which is very usefull for user to analyse the data and bot process.

Automation bring more manual work reduce in your day to day routine.
Working on excel will be good in initial days however repeating the same thing again and again on everyday will makes your JOB boring.
Also leave you no interest to learn anything more, here is where Automation play a good part.

Focusing more and more on Automation might reduce JOB offered to number of employees.
And forcing everyone to learn automation brings discomfort to few people.

After monitoring there is a drafted mail to be sent to few customer, some times we don't change the subject which has pervious date.

By learning this, i can change my whole working procedure. I need to implement this in my work environment to to get all my work done. Very excited to minimize the work load. The variety of option to develop and also compatible for all the applications

The creation of task is a bit slow, we need to run multiple type while creating the task and also test it.

Excel consolidation, SAP configuration and Daily report generations for other applications.Most of the daily work can be reduced by implementing Automation Anywhere.

I find Automation Anywhere easier and more robust to use in comparison to tools such as UiPath and Blue Prism. I enjoy taking part in the accreditation's and diplomas available on the Automation Anywhere University site.

There was some getting used to how to deal with exceptions compared to UiPath, a tool that I am more accustomed to.

As such having experience with Automation Anywhere helps to establish one of our main questions related to RPA: which tool readily available is most appropriate for us in automating manually processes? Within our team it was decided to use a different tool for automation (UiPath) but the discovery phase did find AA the 2nd most appropriate tool for automation. Because of that, our RPA developers ensure to keep their skills and understanding with AA up to date by taking part in the relevant accreditation's and diplomas available.
