Automation Anywhere simplifies manual repetative hectic work

What do you like best about the product?
The control room and the fact the we don't have to code in AA creator.
Metabots makes AA extendable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to edit the obj cloning settings run time. For eg adding or deleting filters for a particular object.
There is no single repository to store all objects.
System logs in AA keeps growing with time and slows the process overtime.
There are no ways for recovery scenarios in the event of unexpected pop ups etc.
Variables need data type.
Variable operation to assign a date results in a decimal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insurance policy renewal automation.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool has plenty of options on what it can do. Still geared for a tech developers but there is so much promising areas where this can help our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have like more example videos beyond their basic training which was almost too general. The workbench has over 500+ options of what it can use yet there are only a couple handful videos to help new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to build additional capacity within our workforce and place emphasis on analysis with the new capacity. Optimize the value of employee's time while at work.

Quick way to Automate

What do you like best about the product?
The tool has some key features and helps to automate things faster. I like the way the team gets engaged and help to support for an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like to see automation anywhere introducing new features but I'm disappointed with the stability of the tool. I see that functionality breaks and did not work for a while and suddenly it starts working after a week with no fix. I myself raised more than 5 defects in 3 months tenure. The support is responsive but it takes more time for issue resolution. Also, the defect is not fixed in the current version but fixed in a later version that's getting released after few months. It's becomes more troublesome that AA does not provide one-off patches. We can't keep on upgrading the environment every time there is a issue fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We try to achieve productivity benefits
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a proper feasibility analysis before making a choice on choosing RPA as a way to automate and also in choosing the right tool for your organization.

Good Start but Not Yet Matured

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is a really good tool for people to pick up very easily. For people who don't have a technology background, it is a fairly straightforward tool to explain.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a number of things that AA can improve upon and add, especially to keep up with the changing landscape of technologies out there. For example, there are built in commands for XML manipulation, but not for JSON, which is pretty standard nowadays.

The drag and drop functionality gets time consuming and tiresome, and the lack of keyboard commands (for example, copy and pasting variables) makes developing in AA more time consuming and tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a lot of business problems in which employees are doing mundane tedious tasks that are almost robotic. Using AA to alleviate the employees from doing these tasks to focus on other innovative things have proven beneficial in both ROI and employee satisfaction. It also allows business groups to rethink their business process.

What do you like best about the product?
its potential for growth I think that as this software grows the abilities to automate process will increase and be able to handle more complex tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
it currently struggles with complex operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
repeat tasks that do not require judgements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
be patient with yourself if your learning how to automate. understand that partial automation may happen before full automation. bite of small chunks and don't set your expectations too high for the first few bots you create.

Making processes automated equals getting more time for productive work

What do you like best about the product?
We implemented our 2 Use Cases with AA and it has let us get a room to think on improving our overall process at Enterprise level. We are working on more use cases and we are amazed with the simplicity AA get along with our Web Services. I feels like a friendly bot helping us out.
What do you dislike about the product?
On issues with AA workflow we get it solved by our local AA support group. We often have to contact our Dev/Prod support to get it fixed instead auto fixed. Maybe this is not AA specific and we can improvise on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monotonous manual work is now automated. Helping to save hours and also cancelling any chances of human errors. Some processes are sensitive and no error is allowed. Bots come handy and reliable in those use cases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It has well focussed Recorders, Chat bot creators with relevant set of Wizards to help.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere has some of the industry leading technologies and makes enterprise processes automation easy. Their UI design of the control room is fantastic along with the functionality of the client software.
What do you dislike about the product?
With being a newer technology there is expected to be issues, in certain environments this product can be a struggle to stand up. We have had issues with authentication using LDAP and the software installing section period. I believe Automation Anywhere is doing its best to continue to improve their product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Automation Anywhere for account provisioning and human resource leave of absence timekeeping. We have seen decent benefits with Automation Anywhere so far with our pilot use cases but can see the value that the product brings.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to find information and training. Walk through training scenarios. I have tried finding information and training on competitor sites and find it very hard to the extent that I need to engage by phone and email to obtain information. With AA it is there all on their site. This enables me to evaluate the product and engage in training
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find anything as it was far better than competitors websites that I have used
