Easier and faster than you would expect
What do you like best about the product?
I really love using RPA workspace sevice of Automation Anywhere. There are many things that suit my needs, first being completely browser based, so i can access it from any of my devices without installation etc. Also the maount of code you actually need to implement is far lesses than i thought for such complex case
What do you dislike about the product?
I found laying my first steps hard as i had to look for proper documentation, indepth video tutorials will be much appreciated.
Also, if there can be a free tier plan with unlimited validity, even if with less resources, it will really help with hobby projects and prototyping.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One recent use has been regarding devops on Google cloud platform, I am able to track all deployments and activities on GSheets and slack.
Once we are out of prototyping we plan to try out how AA-RPA could help with scaling and feature enhancements too.

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use. And helps a lot in workplaces that are more human effort based
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! This software is perfect and has excellent features too. No complaints as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Processes that requires human time and effort now being done automatically saving cost, time and effort.
Automation Anywhere and it's helpfulness
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is robust for complex processes. The latest packages in version A360 are more accurate and easier to use with higher efficiency. Also, there is an added advantage of additional commands that are now only available in AA, and it's the support of multiple languages like python, java, VBScript, c#.
What do you dislike about the product?
Capture command from recorder package is still not very smooth and run's into errors even after applying wildcards at many places. And since the latest version is entirely on the web, it always has to install dependencies before running, which is a bit slower than the previous version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving numerous processes from automating excels with Advanced package, OCRs, PDF integrations, using recorder to mimic the various web portals as per process accurately, SAP, connection to databases, and many more. Using these, we solve several business use cases at times.

Powerful Business Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is the best tool to support script-based automation. It is easy to learn by non-technical people. Automation Anywhere IQ bot supports cognitive automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation anywhere is a little complex to develop the legacy applications and Citrix or OCR automation. It is not easy to upgrade the Automation Anywhere version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Automation anywhere tool in the Reconciliation process. It thoroughly helped to automate end to end. It reduced Turn Around Time of the Reconciliation Process.

Here are the things that I like with the new A360:
1) Cloud platform, needless to say, it's very hassle-free to use. You have both the control room and workbench at one place.
2) Lots of new features added.
3) Integration is made easy with other technologies like SAP, Salesforce, BPM etc.
4) Ability to design flow using diagram.

What do you dislike about the product?
Here are the things that I dislike with the new A360:
1) Code migration from automation anywhere v11 to A360 required lot of changes even if the utility tool says that the V11 code is 90+ compatible. More rework had to be made in codes and its becomes very complex with reusable components.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am working on projects that use automation anywhere A360 to automate SAP, Excel, and Web applications. Working with SAP is very easy with newer versions, as A360 allows us to perform UI automation, Run Scripts, and object cloning. Also, with the introduction of "Excel Advance" packages, now A360 gives a lot of functionality and control over excel operations, making the Bot more compatible with various use cases.

I have been using Automation Anywhere for the past five years, and trust me, it is the best tool for Automating a complex Business Process. The best thing is that you can easily record the manual steps using inbuilt records in Automation Anywhere and then quickly make the changes in recorded steps to make it dynamic.

What do you dislike about the product?
No inbuilt functionality is provided in AA to automate SAP Applications in previous versions. So, in order to automate SAP application, metabot need to be downloaded from Bot Store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to automate the Complex Business process, which requires a lot of human manual effort. Using automation, it becomes effortless to perform the process steps, which earlier involves a lot of time and effort. You can easily schedule the Bot at any time without any human intervention.
It also reduces the chances of human error, which makes it more efficient for a large and complex process. Multi Bot Architecture is a valuable feature that we can use for processing large amounts of Customer Data

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is the best RPA platform that I have used. The stability and reliability of processes developed using Automation Anywhere is way better than any other RPA tool.
It is easy to use and install. Since it's a low-coded technology anyone with basic programming knowledge and logic can use it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike about AA. However, the new UI in automation anywhere cloud version(A360) is very chunk. The developer studio is not very comfortable for the user. If the code is lengthy it is difficult to seek through the code. And also the search functionality within the code is not efficient. It would have been better if the code editor is more professional and looks like a text editor(similar to AA V11).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly I used it for web scrapping, excel automation, web automation, etc. One of the significant processes that I have used AA for developing a PowerPoint presentation containing data from different platforms. Even though AA doesn't have inbuilt features to interact with Microsoft POwerPoint, I used custom VB scripts. The process is scheduled on monthly basis. It creates 90 ppts with an average of 1000 slides. The man-hours for doing the same is 2-3 weeks but the AA bot reduced it to 48 hrs. The total cost savings is very huge and the business is highly impressed with the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation Anywhere is an amazing tool. It is the most efficient RPA tool once you implement it. There is no going back to any other tool once you are familiar with it. It is simple to work within any system in the new cloud edition of AA; all you need is an internet connection. You can integrate with any 3rd party tools and we can write custom DLLs if we want. The AA support team is inclined to assist 24/7.

What do you like best about the product?
User Interface is easy to use for a non programming professional, works like an IDE where I can drag and drop the commands to create the bots.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike much but the hang issues can be improved, and some integration with Sap applications doesn't work.

I am using it for creating the bots to automate the rule-based process for my client in Pharma Division.
