the problems: highly manual tasks, high response times. the benefits: more immediate responses, simpler activities for the user

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to train three accountants to be bot developers who had no technical experience and all three became certified developers. They are all able to develop bots with no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some issues with the bot runners not connecting consistently on a regular basis. This has required some manual intervention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We a looking at reduction the transfer of data from different systems manually by having the bots move the data. We are seeing reduced error rates and quicker data transfers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend a third party implementer to help you setup the environments and do the training.

A great software to use
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the tool, I am not a developer but was able to build my own bot easily thanks to the drag and drop system

What do you like best about the product?
There is an easy integrations of database commands with excel can be leverage, where complex excel operations are involved.
The image reorganization command is pretty awesome; it can identify the element even if the color of image is changed.

In v11.3 of Automation Anywhere:
The parameters which are passed in Rest Web Service call gets disappeared once we open the command again. Due to this a considerable amount of time is lost in identifying, correcting the fixing the exacts issues while passing the raw parameters.
It takes a considerable amount of time of the start xml session to get executed.
There should be an easy provision for retry mechanism, this comes handy when Automation Anywhere fails to identify the object element property during first run.
There should be a direct integration of SAP with Automation Anywhere (not with the SAP meta BOT).
There should be more excel commands integrated with Automation Anywhere like filtering the column, getting a grant total etc.

The Developers should have proper VBA codding knowledge if the process involves a complex excel operations to be performed.
Developers should have atleast an entry level certification before developing a BOT.
