The non-descriptive nature of the tool , which becomes difficult for non programmers to understand the tool and implement in a short span of time.
The tutorial videos could focus more on the implementation part, which would be helpful for programmers.

What do you like best about the product?
Mainly, I have seen the features of Automation Anywhere with IBM Digital Business Automation suite. It provides great process management capabilities for handling manual repetitive tasks in an efficient manner. It provides Bots which can perform work like humans by interacting with one or multiple systems using UI or system integration. It does not require great programming skill and a resource can become productive in very less amount of time. Although basic understanding of programming is required like variables, loops, conditions etc. It provides lots of built in integration features like Mail, FTP, SOAP, REST, Database etc. to make the development faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation is bit complex and requires very specific versions of softwares like database server, Dot Net framework, Windows etc.
It has lots of user roles which sometimes become confusing to the users.

I have used this product with IBM Business Process Manager to automate data driven tasks, error tasks. Like - for error tasks, we have created auto retry and auto closure feature with this.

Automation Anywhere is a powerful RPA platform with AI capability. It can be used to increase productivity and to reduce cost and human errors for performing manual repetitive tedious tasks.

Unlike the other RPA tools in the market Automation Anywhere focuses more on the cognitive and analytical side which would be a added advantage and great help to the learning community who looks for versatility in the crowd

The user is not able to customize save location once a task bot is created.If at all the settings has been customized that would affect the integration with the Control Room.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to deal with PDF forms that was bit tricky,where the fields where not structered with the help of IQ bots i could easily tackle my problems to churn out a solution out of them.

What do you like best about the product?
Good development interface, easy to use and easy to get fast results while working directly with your business users. Installing the entire enterprise thing was not a challenge though, but it could be packaged in a more seamless way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The internal usage of back version software, such as the Postgres and SVN which comes on the installation package but are out of date. We asked the sales support team if they had the upgrade planned on their road map, but got no answers.

Iam shocked to see the results of IQ bot we used for our PDF files.
I loved the taskbots loopings ans also the variable operation works great.
My best command in the tool would the Loops as it takes the command on the whole code you write.
Automation anywhere gives you a step by step overview of your code and give a control over it.
Very good error handling can be done using this tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would want OCR option to be more accurate and shouldn't be failing after many uses.And should work on across all platforms and different forms eg;Oracle forms

Capturing captcha has been a good experience.But need more accuracy and less failure rates with OCR we are using MODI plugin.

Processing Speed, providing so many pre developed bots in bot store. its very easy to use. IQ bot as its best. AA gives 99% error free.

Its not flexible to use different kind of data types.

We have resolved very high potential business problem, now we are able to upload the files on time to client portals and immediately we are able to assist client.

commands provided are excellent.The usage of recording options,workbench and commands are user friendly.Till now I have not seen a good automation tool for testers.but after usage of this tool I am really recommend for the colleagues to install the AA tool and start working on that.Thanks to the AA Team for their efforts and determination to bring up this tool.

1.Automation anywhere free license version tool is only for one month so I would requesting the team to provide the renewal option for the free license tool.As a working guy we cant explore the entire functionality in one month.so if the renewal option is there then it will be good to learn the usage of commands and implement practically
