A class apart from other RPA tools
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about AA is the usability is so simple when compared to some other RPA tools, for a developer it is very user friendly, which can lead to more work to be done in considerable less time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more documentation may be needed in the portal, along with the e-learning videos. Also, a community would also be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with BPM tools like IBM BPM, through which BPM paired with RPA can be used. Human tasks have been able to be automated by using AA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you have used AA you will find it better than the other RPA tools in the market.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is a strong RPA tools that help in business processes. The tool is very user friendly and with enterprise architecture. By using automation anywhere, building bot to automate process will not required high technical person with intensive programming knowledge.The usability is very easy. Automation Anywhere(AA) has ability to integrate current business processes via web services and .NET DLLs. Its flow can be readable. has been a great help in providing solutions which has eased the ortherwise complex processes. The flexibility of using commands starting from pdf merging and excel. AA is future of Automation industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
limitation in using Office 365 and outlook
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am been working on complex business process which involve 2-3 FTE and around 4 hrs to finish manually. With AA FTE got reduced to 0.5 and time to 1 hr.

The training modules are very interactive and knowledgeable also the content of the course is very informative and covered all the areas of automation.

Interesting tool a complete solution
What do you like best about the product?
The control room is real powerful and web based and let you control all of your robot, see the log, schedule job. The deploy of a process is quite simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recorder mechanism is not so usefull, is better to understand the pattern and create single object.
The editor and the UIX are not at the best and is no always easy to navigate through the project

AA is powerful in getting lot of information around the application we use every day. We develop BOT to take information, make decision and insert the result in propretary application.

That it is very user friendly and easier to configure for people without a technial Background.

There is always some limitations in all products in the market. For eg. Formatting in Excel or MS application would be a plus if readily available.

The uniqueness of solution provided by the team for problem which we were facing in our team for managing remote locations based team

It requires too many formalization of the input. It is difficult to formalize document which is prepared with any fixed template

IT has drastically reduced time in follow up required for managing inputs from team and it has reduced the manpower which was used only for mail part.

It is going to next biggest mode of doing business. RPA is going to be everywhere. Sooner the organization adapt to RPA, it will give them a heads up for future experiments with technology.

Ability to automate sap applications.Time taken to complete the process as compared to manual is very less.Even the human error are reduced.In one of my process i was able to process hundreds of records in a quick time.
Further excel operations due to which was able to do a lot of operations in a quick time.Like applying filters to remove duplicates,to apply v lookup and so on.
Ability to integrate scripts like vb and macro .This has made life easier to automate things n quick time.

Ability to handle sap application interface.Trying to automate without dll it makes it very difficult.
Further like most of the operations cannot be used every time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer services-Basically it deals with stock transfer - for processing a single return merchandise authorization the business takes 15 minutes minimum where as using automation anywhere it just takes a minute and with all the kinds of exception handled.
System health monitoring- where we share a consolidated files about the system health basically of all the sap systems and consolidated them all using databases using SQL server.It has literally reduced an fte also the time to process this.

What do you like best about the product?
I worked for a company where automation was not part of the culture, and countless tasks had to be repeated continuosly, week after week. I used Excel VBA and other portable applications to speed up my workflow and invested all the time I was saving in finding more ways to work more efficiently and intelligently. A few years later, I find myself working for Bancolombia, a company that has become a major leader in robotic process automation, using Automation Anywhere. The software presents a clean and easy-to-use interface, designed to facilitate the automation process by having a well-defined set of predefined tasks. Such tasks, and the way they can be dragged to create the logic for the bots, reduce the impact that more traditional programming languages may have on less technical people. The program works fast and the logic is highly powerful, allowing to create a wide variety of bots to automate simple to complex applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the interface and the way elements are presented visually. The windows that open when a task is dragged out has a comprehensive set of functions and options that enhance their functionality. The Variable Manager is also very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't like that drag-and-drop is the only way to add tasks to build the code. I would love to see a way to type code directly, since many of the tasks present a well-defined structure that could be copied and pasted, and then modified manually. This way, AA could be treated more like a programming language with more flexibility, perfect for people with a strong background in computer science or software engineering. On the other hand, the interface can be a little bit clunky. Some functionality could be made more fluid, for example when dragging tasks, opening windows, handling variables, etc. Another element that I would improve dramatically is the handling of variables. I would like to see more variable types and more flexibility in handling assignment of values.
