Rulers in RPA - Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The "IQ bot" enable the business user to experience the power of advanced artificial intelligence technologies. It offers enterprise massive gains in productivity. The "Bot Insights" feature enables to analyze bot performance in the system. By this feature we are able to judge which bot is performing better. The "Workload Management" feature fulfill the demands of enterprise-class SLA which in turn helps the user to prioritize high-value transactions. "Smart Recorder" feature provides more flexibility during recording tasks that involve various technologies like Java, HTML, and Flex.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when I run he bot, my system hangs. I check the task manager and see that the CPU utilization has reached 100% . So there is overloading of cpu because there is encryption and decryption going in the bank end. If this could be improved it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Excel to DB
Collecting multiple sheets from client over mail. Pushing the data to database using "Read From" Action under Database and producing a consolidated sheet and sending the sheet over mail.

Getting Employee mail from HR and on boarding to different legacy applications in client environment.Intimating the same to the HR after successful implementation.

It is a great tool with lot of training material and video available on the Automation Anywhere University. There is continuous upgrade in the tool and the team always strive for improvement. It is a must try for a person interested in automation. Community version is free for one month.
A best tool for the nightly building and testing on the go using RPA
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless UX, and the ease of automating the redundant task that needs a lot of manual effort. And surely a go if you want to just try as the learning and using the software is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing structure is too high for individual consumers or small scale enterprise. It also need to improve on the ground of OCR feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job required to test our company's proprietor software which generates excel sheet, and that to a ton of them. To open each one and run excel formulas was really a pain. Using automation anywhere seriously eased my task as it take of everything itself and give me the report.

Surely can try and evaluate as per your requirement. Call to support if u need help, they are really prompt in service.

What do you like best about the product?
People have different views on RPA based on the position they hold in an organization. COO wants to drive RPA to reduce the OPEX and improve the bottom line.RPA is strategic investment for the CIO's when they need to transition to upcoming technological landscape without disrupting the Legacy IT platforms and avoid investing on them. AA helps meet both the spectrum and more. We can schedule our bots to overcome ERP availability limitations and save on landed cost while delivering faster with enhanced quality. Automating all the swivel process gave CIO's breathing space in terms of technological compatibility between cascading workflows but also enhanced employee moral by reallocating them to more cognitive functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organizations are generally wary of making new investments and changing the technology landscape. And if they does they want to generally test the waters first. Absence of community edition for AA was a major concern in adoption and implementation. Of late same has been addressed but I believe more need to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to reduce cost of delivery and improve the CSAT of our customers using RPA.
Problems generally attributed to Slower IT systems such as Citrix and Volume Swamp during critical financial closures.

Please choose depth of Experience of your developer team rather then features of the vendor.
If you have excellent development and implementation team they can work wonders which vendors will not.

What do you like best about the product?
Best part of automating technology is that a new dimension of techno-progressiveness is getting explored and enabled for experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability of imbibing new booming techno-concepts in short period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used in an autonomous vehicle project. It was a very helpful tool for me. Conceptually it had an ample of aids.

What do you like best about the product?
Good tool to learn and implement.It helps reducing human effort and this is the tool which can be easily learnt.From this tool we can call any other scripts like VB Script or java script. apart from that we can use database as well. this is one of the best tools to interact with database and tables as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is little more when compared to other tools.and the trail version is just for 30 days but also not having all features enabled.And I think it would be great if there is a chance of creating and accessing metabot as well for trail version for better understanding and learning for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fixed many Excel Issues.fixed pdf issues and some issues that I've faced with web applications as well. Benifits here is that the client is user friendly and coding can be done very quickly.But have to be more cautious while developing

This is a good tool to go with, For huge process automations I highly recommend this as it will reduce the human effort and the time taken for the process to gets completed.

It was very easy to operate.
What do you like best about the product?
the best thing about it is that, it is script less. So, even if you are not very good at coding, you can still use it. It has agility in its processes. The drag and drop featues comes to help a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well I can say that, it's usability limit is comparatively less as compared to other tools available in the market. When the program becomes a bit large, it was difficult for me to understand.

We have used it in one of our innovation idea. So we tried to implement it with Automation Anywhere.
It can handle PDF, excel etc. Automation Anywhere is very well suited for most RPA use cases, because it comes with a good and versatile set of commands, screen actions and built-in tools and features (it supports FTP, SOAP, REST, Database, variable assignment and manipulation, and simple math).

Why I like Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to understand in comparison to other RPA tools like Blue prism. It let me create bots to automate repetitive task such as filling timesheets and other desktop based applications. It is easy to learn and a lot of number features makes it easy to automate complex manual tasks. The best thing I like about is the "Screen Recorder" feature. It is one of the best feature in AA .
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing particular to dislike about this software. But if the accuracy can be improved in the screen recorder a little bit it will be easier. Another thing is Chrome is not fully supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously I have to read data from excel and change or update those information in a SP site. I automate it using automation anywhere to read excel files and write the information in the site. It saves a lots of manual effort and time. It is a bit too expensive for individual users
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to use and understand in compare to BluePrism (another RPA tool). I would advise you to try it as it has many features(screen recorder, bot runner ,task editor) in comparison to other RPA tools.

i) The tool is extremely user friendly and Detailed training material is provided on the AA University for newbies to learn.
ii) Integration with source control is very refreshing.
iii) Great dashboard with Bot Insight, MetaBots, and IQ Bots which handles processes requiring Intelligence.
iv) Multiple levels of cloning. In case screen cloning doesn't work, we can do object-based cloning or keystroke-level cloning, depending upon what parameters are available to us.
v) An easy to learn and deploy automation tool that can save FTE, effort and time.
vi) Top-notch security protocols which assure us of the safety of our files across multiple locations.

Problem Statement
Login to multiple bank accounts and navigate to file extraction template. Extraction of file content and generation of Reconciliation report in form of Proof Entry Template and Internet Checklist. Reconciliation of amount from the bank website and from the report generated in form of Proof Entry Template manually.
Challenge
Handle login to 120 such banks on a daily basis. Any login error would block the bank website and file once downloaded would disappear.
Solution
With AA, there was not security risks in logins and it was able to handle processes for all the banks smoothly.

It is a great tool and it is continuously updating. There is lot to learn in the tool and if anyone wants to go for RPA, they should start with this tool. It has got a very colorful UI and awesome and elaborate training videos.
Easy to Automate Complex scenrio with repitative Task
What do you like best about the product?
The Training has all the info about the creation of bot and to automate other applications like excel files. The Process of creating bot is very easy . The excel processing training material is good i.e. how its fetching data from excel . I can say its the future of automation for repeating task. Its very good product in respect to current competitive market. Anyone can learn it and can be used by a person without strong technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation part is very tough and its very difficult to understand the procedure. So it will good if it can be simplified . The Training are very lengthy though its informative. Course is also very long. Need to spent more time to learn more feature. The UI and Navigation may be improved . May be changed after my expired trial version. The costing is high as per I know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing of daily task mail and sending to team members is a repeating and time consuming task .
So its helping on it. Though i have not used the other feature but as per my understanding it will solve more complicated task more easily. I also posted one idea regarding the automation of HR process for an internal idea competition. Though I have not got the chance to implement it or how can it be implemented .
