One of the best automation tool in the market
What do you like best about the product?
The easy development interface is a definite plus point which adds to the ease of developer in building automation process. Easy utility to install bot on various environment is very helpful. Free guidance material is very benefitial for new users to learn this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support quality is very poor. There is no proper forum where all your queries could be answered. Also there are few limitations in terms of support for application automation which leads to issues some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organization we are using it to remove repetitive work of people so that they could focus on new opportunities and widen their work horizon. Due to this we are also able to identify the gaps in our business processes and also showing the higher management where are improvements can be done. It has helped in improving the quality of work in processes where manual errors were more. We are using it in Accounts payable process where we are scanning the invoice data and processing it in SAP.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is definitely one of the best tools you can consider if you are planning to introduce RPA in your organization. There are few drawbacks in terms of ease of use but they are also improving with time which would lead to further ease in using this tool.

Use cases wherein actions on a remote desktop need to be taken is still a challenge .

Easy to use and user friendly. Drag and Drop feature is best.

In my current project, most of the time is consumed by reporting and monitoring jobs.
So I chose Automation Anywhere tool to automate all task.
But it is performing way better than I expected. Along with all monitoring, it is also helping to speed up my activities. I can download large number of files from servers using search in XLSX and download to local system, editing files in bulk.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only one thing which I didn't like is that I didn't get to know about this before. There is no advertisement, so I wasted my time in searching other tools and using them.

It is saving almost 2 hrs daily as I made 5 reporting and monitoring tools using Automation Anywhere. Along with all scheduled activities, it is also helping to speed up my activities. I can download large number of files from servers using search in XLSX and download to local system, editing files in bulk.

Every part is very clear to understand. But some video's are too long so there is a lack of concentration in this part.

Automation Anywhere pros and cons, Very easy to start development
What do you like best about the product?
task creation is so easy to learn and develop, but need some improvements about logging and monitoring. Also alarm mechanism would be great like predefined integration with some ticket or alarm tools. The interface is user-friendly and good.
Easy recording options are available, which are very useful.
Less coding required.
Object cloning is one of the best things in automation anywhere, Any novice user, who spends some time can learn easily, such a well organized tool. Built in tools for API's and FTP's.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unknown bugs and hard to track process from log level, monitoring must be improved. We are searching for a good migration from v11 to A2019 but not still satisfied about migration utility. Because we have more than 100 actively running schedules and downtime must be minimum.

Gain huge FT from repetitive tasks and some of reporting issues are easily solved by automation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Architectural improvements and monitoring must be better. It has fewer features for excel and email automation commands and sometimes object cloning doesn't work properly. Debugging feature is not much enhanced. It has less variable type and so we face issues with dates and numbers format. when compare to other RPA tools, debugging mode is poorly functional. in blue prism its very nice and you have full control over the code in a debugging mode.
while running in a debugging mode, variables don't store values of current debug run, to check the result always need to use message box to check.

IQ bot which helps to read the documents perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For an example - Writing an excel from a data table is very difficult compare to other RPA tools like UIpath. If we have an option to add individual values to a data row and provide a feature to add the data row to the data table will be easy for the developers.

Preparing the report for business review which is easier and flaw less while creating using AA.
