My Automation Anywhere experience
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working on Uipath and automation anywhere from past 15 months.As a developer i felt automation anywhere is better compared to other RPA tools in the market.Because, automation anywhere is stable compared to other tools.The smart record is really stable.
For Scripting level it is very good. The DLL feature for automating SAP is really very useful and it makes the process faster with minimal error. The control feature of Automation Anywhere is very good and easy to understand. In the dashboard menu we get the overall status of all the deployed bots whether it is failed or active etc. Similarly in credential manager option in control room we can securely store the encrypted passwords. Also we can limit the accessibility of different feature of control room based on the user. The Metabot feature is the best part of automation Anywhere because the reusability results in lot of time savings.
The support provide by Automation Anywhere technical customer care team is extra ordinary.

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the User Interface of the tool.It's a bit complex to navigate and understand. There is little bit lag in the developer training videos of Automation Anywhere but it's manageable. The no of activities is less. It would have been nice if there is an option for developer to create some custom activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1.we are automating excel operations,invoice operations like reading or extracting data from PDF and fetching the invoice number and related content and proceeding further.

Very good to implement fixed business logic's related to multiple domains like Banking, insurance, etc.

My opinion about Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The very best thing I like about Automation anywhere is that we can literally automate almost everything and there is no need of any prior coding knowledge. The Metabot concept is really good because we can avoid the repetition of same coding and thereby develop bots faster. The PDF reader activity is also amazing, this has made so many process simple. Apart from above things what i liked in Automation anywhere is that the analytics option, the user can quickly have a glance and get an idea about the number of bots running etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is really boring. The support for the Chrome browser in Automation anywhere is pathetic. Selecting the activities from the taskbar is bit difficult because there is no option for searching an activity. The Automation anywhere training website is really bad and one must need good patience to listen to the videos. If there ian option for custom activity like library it would have been good and made things simpler. The user interface for creating the variable is quiet confusing. I find very difficult to find answer for certain questions while developing AA bots because of the less active community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved several problems using Automation anywhere especially automating SAP part using DLL in this software is very easy and resulted in minimal error. The benefits I realized that faster processing and without human error. The PDF reading activity is amazing and I used it for this for automating the extraction of PDF content.

I will suggest them to follow the best practice while developing bots

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily create a bot to process or automate tasks that I do on a daily basis freeing my time and money. the usability is very intuitive and user-friendly I really like the use of the tool it's pretty simple and easy to navigate around. The learning process is very easy and doesn't have a steep learning curve. There are tons of features the bots are smart enough to do the tasks that program them to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
the cost is relatively high the speed is also slow, the documentation also is pretty lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time and resources, the easy and repetitive tasks can easily be handled with the bots allowing human resources to focus on more complex tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere tool is completely built on the .Net Frame Work it supports multiple browsers and application it is very developer friendly tool. there are many inbuilt commands in the tool for files,folders email and Excel and many other commands for different applications which made the development easier and simple. using the tool we work on the citrix automation and image recognition with the help of OCR engine.also we can read write and log into the text and log files and there is command called work load where we can insert the work item and set the work item results.using XML command we can automate the API service. Automation Anywhere tool supports both attended and unattended bots we can run through the control room using bot runner. using IQ bots we can work on the complex PDF documents and extract the data very easily and we can pass the .net DLL for Meta bots, for code re- use. overall it is very good tool with high performance and ROI
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the tool Automation Anywhere it is very difficult to automate the application present on the virtual machine and result will not be accurate and working on the Unstructured data is difficult

we are using the Automation Anywhere tool for automating the clients business process which is related to finance and IT returns, like extracting the data from the Employee tax form and comparing it with Data base we automated the entire process with the single bot. which saved lots of time and resources

What do you like best about the product?
Its an amazing tool with which we can automate most of the manual tasks which require time and resource. With a little investment in this tool can get us amazing benefits and assured ROI. We can automate many daily tasks like sending emails, generating reports, data entry with this tool. Its accuracy is great and its very much fast when compared with human task. We can automate web applications, windows application with this tool. We can integrated this with other tools for scanning manual PDFs and extract required data using bot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have observed little difference in results while working on citrix servers, data fetched have some discrepancy which is very minute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for many projects in our company. Ours is a healthcare company, we will be dealing with data entry works like medical bills and transcriptions to enter in to our system. With help of this tool we have automated these tasks, like we created a bot where it download attachments from the email and and uploads the data in to database, runs a query. This reduced processing time to 90% and we could use our FTE for other works. We have various options/ commands in this tool inbuilt we can use it while creating a bot. regular Knowledge sharing sessions are conducted by these guys when ever there is a new update or feature has been implemented.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a nice platform, it very simple and helpful for no coding background users like me, drag and drop comments are very easy to use. with the finance background and experience have got an opportunity to attend one week session in Automation Anywhere tool and now i have completed the Advanced certification in Automation Anywhere. BOT store is one of the added advantage were you can view and download the BOT or we can upload the reusable BOTS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Terminal Emulator was one of the major challenge but not it has been rectified in the previous release. one of the major challenge is Excel limitations, most of the business process will use excel functions, because of this limitations we are forced to use Key strokes which is not the best practice in coding, More excel features needs to be included in the upcoming releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business processes are being automated using Automation Anywhere tool, Quality and Productivity are to 2 major benefits which we have realized till now. since i am not into top level management team have no idea on financial benefits realized.

"It is a nice platform, it very simple and helpful for no coding background users. Though it has excel limitations which is not sufficient. It is recommended to fix the above issue in the next version release. "

MAIN THING WHICH I LIKED IS ITS TIME SAVING AND ERRORLESS. APART FROM THAT IT HELPS TO REDUCE EXPENSES OF THE ORGANISATION WHICH CAN MAKE MORE PROFIT. IT CAN MAKE WORKS QUICKLY AND FAST WHICH DELIVERS CLIENT HAPPINESS. NOWADAYS IT IS NEEDED FOR EVERY ORGANISATION AS IT IMPACT ON EVERY SECTORS.
What do you dislike about the product?
IT CAN MAKE UNEMPLOYMENT OR DEPLOYMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES OR WORKERS WHICH IMPACT MAINLY ON MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE. THE MANPOWER WOULD BE REDUCED AS MACHINES OR ROBOT TAKES PLACE HUMAN BEINGS PLACE.
