Bots as a concept in every level of automation is amazing

Interface to build bots is right now too technical. May be it can be more user friendly where a non techie also can handle it

Great product; certification path needs work
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is a wonderful product for automating routine processes and letting us get back to work doing what is often more meaningful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The certification path for Automation Anywhere prepares you on basics of usage, but the exam itself was so disconnected from the content of the 12 hours of coursework. Not only that, but it had many typographical errors and needs some work to make it better at preparing users for practical usage of the tool and less on theoretical and general overview topics. I realize this isn't specific to the product - but it's critical to the product's adoption and success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've so far automated repeatable click and keystroke processes and haven't yet ventured into OCR and more complex scenarios. However, just by automating a single process that was heavily clicks and typing we saved ~50 hours of otherwise human time.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Automation Anywhere Software is the pace at which a new person can learn and start building solutions. Their rich training content helps a lot as well as it is easy to learn hands-on. The pace at which my team has been able to pick up their RPA learning has been very pleasing
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably, one area of improvement could be some long term plan for Bot Insight - integrating existing BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau if that is feasible. As there are people who are already using these tools, so it is difficult to have the same vision for Bot Insight as the AA team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extracting information from web, PDF., etc. Automating data compilation process. We have already been able to improve the digital culture in our team using AA tools.
Easy to use and learn
What do you like best about the product?
We have started using Automation Anywhere to automate some of the most repetitive and mundane tasks. Automation Anywhere has been helpful to help us focus on more value add work. AA has kept on evolving the tool with building analytics capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support can be better. Also the online training is mostly on product information and not on actual practical use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used AA to automate some data entry tasks for my team. The key benefit has been accuracy as we no longer have to worry about misses or error in the work that can happen due to human error. Also the work is scheduled and gets done on its own. This helps the team focus on more value add work.

Wherever you think of trying Automation Anywhere or any other RPA tool remember first your process needs to be streamlined and documented.

I liked the ease of use of the user interface and the learning curve for basic and intermediate operations can help automating tasks within a couple of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more advanced options are generally dependent of several environment restrictions, also, the instructional videos available in university.automationanywhere.com are relatable mainly for introductory issues, any specific case would force you to search the forums for other users with the same experiences.

Automation of recurring manual operations, which allows to improve the amount of work that's being outputed in a daily basis.

As the new A2019 platform is being deployed, my recommendation would be to study which one represents the best solution to your respective project/company, as both offer somewhat different approaches to solve automation projects

Automate the broker data entry process, which was previously manual. The intent is to improve the quality of data entering the system and also to free up manual hours for more effective use.

I don't like the lack of indentation in the code and the impossibility to close or minimize LOOP and IF blocks within code.

Try to study any Development Methodology before to start an Automation Anywhere implementation because if you don't do it you will have problems with your implementation.
A complete Robot
What do you like best about the product?
You can create any manual repetitive work with a bot which gives you the flexibility to get work done more faster and easier. Like customer onboarding in a bank where you can do onboarding of the nth customer in a single time using excel sheet or anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can not have complete functionality here. Like if you want to create a complete business product then this is not the place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer onboarding is the bank which gives nth customer onboarding in a single time and faster. benefits as you can do exception handling, onboarding of the customer at the same time one by one without manual intervention, mail, etc.
