Automate end to end business process with Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The tool was easy to learn and building the bots was very easy. It has a lot of integration capabilities that can be used to build the bots. We were able to build the bots within a couple of days and can see the impact on the business right away. Some of the manual tasks are so repetitive that with just two bots we were able to free up 200+ hrs of users' time per month. Our company is growing a lot and we are always looking for things to automate and to supplement the people and this tool fits into the core mission of our company. The business was pretty impressed with the tool and they wanted to build their own bots. We have trained a couple of business users so that they can build on their own bots and free up their time from doing manual tasks. We are planning to build a COE around this tool and train more users. Overall this is a very good tool and it can be used for a lot of use cases with in an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it only runs on windows and we need to deploy on our own infrastructure. We are heavily mac users and this is one of the drawbacks with this product, we had to get AWS workspaces to build the bots. That's an additional cost for the tool. I hope they make the cloud version available pretty soon. I didn't like the part that I have to match the resolution of the systems for the bot builder and bot runners. I hope there is a way to auto-correct the display settings according to the machines. Also, there are couple of places where I can't dynamically pass the variable names to the bot like passing the private key location and path to an FTP server. I think the company is very customer focussed and its on the right track to address some of these things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To automate the manual tasks, like generating invoices that are past due and sending them to the vendors, automatically entering purchase requisition from an excel template, inventory reconciliation, onboarding/offboarding the employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I totally recommend this tool and it can be very useful in automation end to end business processes in the organization. It's totally worth the money. We were able to save a lot of man-hours with just a few bots and we are planning to build a COE around this tool and train more users. Overall this is a very good tool and it can be used for a lot of use cases within an organization. The customer support and the whole customer success team are very good at guiding us with the best practices and resolving the issues. They made our journey very easy and less eventful.
Using Automation Anywhere for almost 10 months previously was using and started my RPA in UIPATH/
What do you like best about the product?
If compare with UIPATH has started and use it for almost 9 months and AA is been around 10 months. More easy and user friendly beside it the new client 11.3.4 is a good version including the A2019 is good. Especially the AA academy has a lot help and improve my technical skills in RPA.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are not much to say as it give the best for the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is sometimes the support team may not giving a proper solution when there is any issued.
The benefit is more easy to code and understand the code by our self and the integration is more nice.

1) Rapid changes in versions of Automation Anywhere cause companies to migrate, leading to increased migration costs.

1) Go for it without second thought. When compared to other RPA tools, Automation Anywhere is going to the next level.
2) When we look at A2019, it is a great tool that anyone can use straight away and perform exercises based on their requirements.
3) Providing an option to migrate from AA11.x to A2019 is a great feature that enables organizations to migrate their mini bots and manage them from anywhere, irrespective of VPN, as it is cloud-based.

Great tool to automize bulk work
What do you like best about the product?
Interface and many options to develop your bot.
What do you dislike about the product?
OCR is not great but I’m sure that it will be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as an RPA developer so I use it for pretty much everything. To classify a bulk data is a huge benefit.

Nothing, There is no such feature that I particularly disliked.

What do you like best about the product?
AA is simple to use out of the box and very good to remove repetitive tasks. The best thing I like about AA is that it validates all the PDF documents with high accuracy, which helps in increasing productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Capabilities in Microsoft Office and Complex Automation. Works as expected but requires a lot of tweaking (delays, object cloning)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying Business processes by implementing Bots to remove repetitive manual interventions.
Overall i prefer AA beyond all RPA tool

The Workbench is quite simple to code without getting confusion.The external package like meta Bot and IQBot is quite impressive to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
To do some excel operation we are using VBA because in automation it is taking so much time(v11.3.x). The way To read the variable from text file should be improved

Automation Anywhere is very useful and Fast Automation tool.
What do you like best about the product?
use of Rest and other API commands are very useful. very easy to object clone the objects to get object properties. Tool is easy to understand and command names are straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is need of updating few commands and few things that makes user friendly and helps developer to work faster. Example like: once we open command and if we need to create a new variable then we have to cancel the command window and then create new variable in add variables panel and use that for command . for now Developer is using default variable like prompt-assignment as temporary variable and later copy the newly created variable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of human effort was reduced because of using AA tool. A bot I developed helped our organization reducing 5hrs human effort and completes the same process in 5-10 mins.and this work has to done every day for years.

I would say go ahead and start using this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Object cloning feature of Automation Anywhere. Excel commands are easy to use. PDF integration is efficient feature which saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looping in Automation anywhere is not easy due one line per command. similarly the IF logic start and end is difficult to trace if working on code developed by other developers.

Automating a web based application for data input.
