Sometimes it is difficult to find the solution, if you are stuck in using Automation Anywhere to automate different applications.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have developed various Bots to resolve customer problems. Below is the brief description of some of the use Cases:
- Used AA as an integration between Salesforce and SAP. This included interacting Salesforce using Get/Post API, deletion of existing Purchase data, creation of new purchase records and data extraction from SAP.
- Used AA to interact with ServiceNow based on the real time data provided by the users
- Used AA to extract data from the Website and email the customers based on the business scenarios
- Analysed data using Bot Insight

Its a great Automation tool. It can be used for Integration and Automation of tasks. Its University offers good training courses as well.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Automation Anywhere is capable to automate the process of all the domains like- HR, Marketing, Medical, Finance etc.
2. It is giving benefits to organization by saving time and money.
3. IQ Bot is able to automate the semi-structure/unstructured data. By this RPA proceed towards Cognitive Automation.
4. This tool is easy to learn and a person with less coding knowledge is also able to develop automated task.

There are some bugs in A2019. But Vendor is giving great support to solve all of them and new versions are coming with less issues.

Easy to use platform that keeps adding features!
What do you like best about the product?
We are treated with new and friendly features almost every few months! AA is the first in the industry to launch an integrated document AI layer like IQ Bot. AA launched Microsoft Bots last month. And already this month AA has come up with Discovery Bot. The sheer pace at which path-breaking features are added is impressive. Another aspect is the Bot Store, which is quite evolved, and has a much wider industry coverage than the competition. The 'starter pack' is also a quite easy-on-the-pocket attraction to new customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a dependency on the control room to execute just about anything. In other words, almost nothing can be run without authenticating with the control room. This becomes a limitation in secured environments with no internet access. Further, as a developer, one misses output variables as a standard feature; one has to necessarily log the output to a file and pick from there. Also, the training modules could be better designed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The power of the AA platform is best harnessed by applying it on not-so-structured applications. Functions like document reading, writing to legacy applications, and complex testing scenarios, have been our use cases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not look for ROI or cost saving through replacement of humans as the only benefit accruing from RPA implementation. Accuracy and mistake-proofing is a much more powerful use case as compared to merely eking out efficiencies. Also, be prepared for a slightly more involved support engagement (read higher cost) as compared to traditional software projects.

If you want to reduce your operations costs and reduce the manual errors and dependencies, the AA is the best RPA tool, it has all the features that will allow you to fulfill your business needs.

We are trying to reduce the operations costs on the credit card department and we are automating some manual tasks like printing the Welcome Kit and other checks automatically.

Automation Anywhere is so user-friendly. I have used other RPA tools but none could match with Automation Anywhere.
It is developer-oriented.
In A2019 we can connect to the same account using different credentials which is a very good feature according to me.
Before-after functionality in string operation command is very helpful.
OCR engines supported by Automation Anywhere are very accurate and helpful when it comes to extracting data from scanned invoices and images.

A2019 is slightly disappointing because it cannot match to the user-friendliness of version 11.x. I understand that its a new version and Automation Anywhere are working hard to improve it.
Automation Anywhere needs to upgrade its Excel commands especially in areas like adding a new column in excel and deletion of Excel Sheets.

Invoice processing is so easy with automation anywhere. I have solved many cases related to Ui automation, Data entry, etc. However, I have used Excel automation the most I feel like I am getting better at it every day.

The best RPA tool to start your career with I have had a great learning experience and i have learnt a lot and will continue learning. Happy automation. GO BE GREAT.

What do you like best about the product?
The suite provided by Automation Anywhere: they provide a tool for RPA, a tool for tracking activities and an OCR tool. It's a 360 degrees Process Digital Transformation solution.
Compared to other solution it seems to be the most enterprise oriented solution.
Also Gartner and Forrester say that automation anywhere is one of the best solution on the market

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes new features are not tested very well before the release and there are several bugs. However, Automation Anywhere releases several bug fixing versions during a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to automate serveral processes very quickly without the need of the IT department. The cost of automate a single process is much more cheaper than create a custom software. Furthermore, it allow us to integrate old software (like ibm3270 terminal emulator) wirh web application (this is very common in Banking environment).

I think that currently Automation Anywhere is the best solution for RPA. There are some weakness but I think that in the future versions they'll be fixed.
The best thing is the Bank-grade security and the control room that allow to control anything from a single portal.
A couple of moths ago they released the new A2019 version that is full web so no more client need to be installed.
IQ Bot (the OCR tool of Automation Anywhere) is very useful because it can be used by people with low it skills since there is no code necessity to train the ocr.

What do you like best about the product?
Best feature would be the vision of Automation Anywhere to move the development and deployment over the cloud. Automation Anywhere planned with A2019 as a product, keeping in mind that automation on the cloud is the next step for the ease of implementation of automation in the various organizations and various departments. AARI is the new feature which is definitely taking automation to next level.

We are solving problems for our customers who have their most of ERP and CRM activities over the cloud and which are highly repetitive in nature with the mundane nature . They have realized tons of benefits along with the quicker ROI when we speak about the bot insight.

With the given product A2019, Automation Anywhere is moving in the right direction. Ease of implmenetation, development, hosting capabilities over the cloud and on-premise along with the flavour of IQ bot to process the dark data is a way ahead in procurement, finance, sales, accounting, data entry, digital document processing and any other area for the scope of automation with A2019 Automation Anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to learn and easy to develop .any one who has basic knowledge of programming can develop .The latest control room update is very interesting after queues which can pick next available machine to run next record which will help you for time efficiency .There is automatic feature which can give error description and take error screen shot when we enable which is very interesting and helpful to develop the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the license is little more when compared to other tools.and the trail version is just for 30 days but also not included all the features which are available in full edition.It would be great if there is a chance of creating and accessing metabot and IQBOT as well for trail version for better understanding and learning for beginners.the usage of METABOT is unknown for the beginners as we are not having access

we have automated excel operation to do filters and extracting or copying data from one excel to another excel .Automating PDF's to highlight keywords or extract words from PDF.exporting different kinds of files from web portals and automating those files accordingly.automating Web portal by using object cloning and webrecorder.SAP automation has done by DLL in METABOT
