We are using it for automating examination module of university

Metabot are of great use, all functionality are of user friendly and graphical user interface is very simple to use and if user does not have knowledge of programming hi can use it with simple drag and drop features

Its automation! The name itself tells you how it helps you resolving manual work to a great extent!I have worked with AA Enterprise Client! They continuously work towards improvising the product! The support provided is also great! :)

The support might get a little delayed.!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product is great to collaborate with other apps and work. However, the major issue I faced was the scheduling never worked and consumed a lot of time trying to resolve it but in vain. Did not get the appropriate directions from the Support team.

Elimination of manual or tedious process, which consumed more time to clean up the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly efficient, but needed some customization to cater to specific requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major deployment in data gathering and cleanup. Now the system pulls only the pre-defined data from the source ignoring the massive information not needed for our analysis. This saves a lot of time, not requiring a person to manually verifying the complete data, before extracting the required information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Need to understand the existing process and the bottlenecks in getting the right information timely including the deployment of financial and human resources. Then weigh in the advantages of using the AA tool to automate the process, where time consuming (low value work) activities need to be streamlined.

Automation Anywhere is pioneer in RPA Market and revolutionizing the IT industry by its digital transformation. Automation Anywhere has improved their quality of features in product and Easy to learn by Aspiring RPA developers. Objects in SAP can be cloned directly by Object cloning command and which is huge plus where OCR command can be excluded.Queues and Lockers are effective in terms of bot performance.Data extraction from Web application is just piece of cake in AA.Recently launched Discovery Bot is making waves and hopefully comes to fruition. IQBot and Metabot another huge boosters from AA where Automation can be scaled effectively.Task bot has around 700 plus commands for budding Developers get their hand dirty and play with it.Many techies start AA as their first developmental RPA tool due to apt curriculum provided in AA academy.
What do you dislike about the product?
We face more environmental issues from AA which can be improved for better.More APIs can be integrated with the product and Quality wise of image capture can be improved. Emulators or Simulators can be added for Mobile automation which would be helpful for two-factor authentications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most problems are related to UI Exception unhandled thread which needs attention and need to be fixed. Very competitive IDE and ease of automating the processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
AA2019 is rushed out product which is unstable and we have to completely unlearn AA inorder to work on AA2019. AA11.3 was better stable version which is not marketed well and few improvements to be carried in it

To start with, the learning curve is quite low. So it doesnt take much in terms of time as well as efforts to get team up and running.
If you know your client well enough, Automation Anywhere can be used in departments saving fortunes.
It has brilliant skills for OCR capabilities for handling Citrix/VDI applications, and capturing complex data.

However the setup of the tool itself is quite complex. We couldnt think of getting it play by ourself. We had to have external help in setting up the tool.
At certain times, documentation feels little scattered.
Also Automation Anywhere should provide proper option for automatig at the code leve, Not just the drag and drop.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently worked on implementation within a specific internal accounting department. Based on what we experienced, capturing data from images was not upto the mark.
That was a challenge for su, It certainly needs improvement.
Though I myself havent faced it yet, but other team had major issues of excel getting hanged often. So may be that is another area to be looked upon.

I think apart from setting up the tool itself, there is no other part to complain about. With fluid interface you get hang of it within no time. The interface is very easy to use and maneuver without requiring a programming background.
Hence it helps in bringing down the turn around time in going Live from Proof of Concept.
Plus the efficiency of Metabots in reading either web contents or leveraging power of machine learning, that is superb.

There are lots of features about Automation Anywhere that i like, But if i have to point out few those will be,
1. mBots, Metabots in Automation Anywhere are really handy and super useful. Just name any scenario where you can use something from advanced commands like interacting with SAP apps to some simple commands like doing date time operation, there will be single or multiple metabots which can help you automate them with ease. Given some metabots are licensed that is not free, but they are really affordable. Your investment on purchasing those metabots will definitely be paid off. Plus there is a free trial for every metabot, so you can first try them to see if they really fulfill your requirement and if it will be feasible with your business problem. So there will not be any harm later on.
2. Second thing i liked most about automation anywhere will be its reliability, stability. In this time there are several options for RPA tools. But what keeps this tool apart from the rest is its reliability, and support team. If you find any unknown issue in your automation then you can connect with the support team right from the run error window. Which i personally think is a marvelous idea. Also support teams response is quite good in most of time, I have never faced any issue in this case.
3. Third will be the core commands. Though simple they serve their purposes. Mostly from small to medium automation you will find the core commands to be sufficient.

Though there are lots of things to like, One thing i hates about AA is its UI. For a tool to be that advanced i simply could not like the user interface of the AA client i.e. 10.xx which i currently use in my work. Its very old, the interface doesn't look polished. Also lack of search bar in the command section is triggering while working with time constraint. So i hope AA team can work on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anything from IT industries to healthcare, finance or any other domain where there are lots of iterative monotonous manual work. It really feels good while making automated solution which can save a lot of financial and manual effort.

Well i have mentioned everything i like earlier in this review. But to sum it up i will say, If you are looking for a stable rpa tool which you can trust or want to implement in any sensitive field then go for Automation Anywhere. Its the best in my opinion in some aspects. It has its reputation in good way. Though there are other options like UiPath which offers more feature and is some what easier to use, but is not reliable. You will get some unknown errors now and then. So the rest depends on you.

trial and error is sometimes required to figure out what approach is the best approach when developing bots, some methods work better than others. Automation Anywhere needs to upgrade in Excel commands areas like Add Column in excel, Delete Excel Sheets.
Excel gets hanged Automation Anywhere did not give any notification.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to improve processes involving a lot of data entry, and other mundane tasks like checking for the latest information on a website and sending emails across the business to update us on new opportunities. we are still looking to include the automation anywhere platform in more areas of our company and scale up usage more and more over time. By using technologies like Automation Anywhere the real impacts concern working capital reductions, accuracy improvements, revenue ennoblement and enabling speed to customer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We love Automation Anywhere. It's perfectly suited for larger firms with well developed systems and IT structures to implement and use. While it has worked for us, as a small-ish firm, that hosts the system not in IT, but rather an Accounting and Finance function, it can be sometimes difficult to integrate and maintain. Many may tell you not to house it within IT, but it would certainly help in many instances.

It is very good when using web tools and web recorder. Some objects are not reachable but most part of process are easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that as a developer we need not to download and install the studio and its been provided a s a cloud solution and also integrated with conrol room. It helped me to quickly create a a bot within few minutes and and could run it. Also the inbuilt IQ Model is thebest. It works faster than other RPA vendors. I have used other tools as well. The UI is the best and its very easy to develop a robot. Also the Studio comes free with unilimted number of bots. Thats the great advantage for developers. They can just learn it freely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing actually. Its a very good tool. Its doing really great. However we have to create a scripts for some of the automations and for non programming guys it might be difficult to use in the beginning or requires very good training. Without programming skills its little difficult to use and master the tool. It would be good if the business users get another version of the Automation Anywhere Studio with easier implementation and less steps, so that they can also master the tool and use it on daily basis for the automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All types of manual work I automate with the tool. Mainly I have worked with Excel , Email , Word, Power point. It worked seamlessly for these types of autoation. I have also used Automation Anywhere for unstructured data like OCR. The computer vison technology worked really well .
