Excellent Solution for AWS Backups
What do you like best about the product?
The API-level of integration has made interacting with backup policies and restoring instances invaluable. It has saved costs compared to storing snapshots in AWS and made it much easier to get useful reports. Also, the documentation and support have been extremely helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult thing about Druva Cloud is configuring it within the Phoenix (CloudRanger) console but once it is setup, it's easy to use afterwards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backups of EC2 workloads in AWS helps us efficiently ensure our workloads are protected and secure.

The analysis used for the initial storage credit sizing apparently needs some work as we ran out of Druva Cloud storage credits and had to purchase more mid way through our term.

Druva helps simplify our backups in AWS and reduce the storage costs of keeping those backups.

Druva Data Security Cloud is seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
It reduces the workload on our IT department which allows us to focus on other tasks.

Really like the ease of implementation and use. It is super easy to configure a backup set either for VM type or File System type.
Customer support is of great help when needed.

You need to manually deploy some local backup agents on your datacenter for it to properly work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking care of infrastructure servers back up and DR automatic recovery. It is a relief having those important tasks covered by a reliable solution.
Druva: The best backup software on the market with the best support
What do you like best about the product?
This backup software is great and easy to use. There are plenty of options for backing up as well. VMWare, Hyper-V, File Servers, MS-SQL, NAS, Oracle, SAP HANA and Nutanix AHV. Not only are the many options quite easy to set up but the support and onboarding teams are unmatched.
Another great thing that I like about Druva is the ability to restore into a sandbox environment that is supplied by Druva to test and make sure that the restore will work as I need it to before restoring into my actual environment.

So far it has been excellent and I don't have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of backing up and restoring multiple Virtual hosts as well as storage devices, MS-SQL server and Hyper-V hosts as well. Another benefit is having great support that helps you almost immediately and a great onboarding team that will help you every step of the way. The sandbox environment is also a massive plus to the software. Veeam was great but the data management side of it was not, using Druva and backing up to the cloud removes the data management side of backing up (mostly).

Quick to configure and deploy, clear and concise management dashboard, removes on premise hardware for backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model requires estimation over backup data volumes at the beginning and then may require some fine tuning to adhere to the credits purchased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva helps us with the headache of managing backup datasets, ensuring they are replicated off site to a secure location and then challenge of restoring data in a timely manner. Since the solution was implemented these problems have been removed.

It is user friendly, Its airgapped architecture enables seamless backup and restore functionalities. Single pane of glass enables a frictionless experience.

No functionality for yearly Backups for end users for compliance will make it a even better product.

Our Backups are streamlined and we get 256 bit encrytption making it compliant for our backups.
