Software that works
What do you like best about the product?
Once configured, the software works great. Backups are fast and unnoticeable to the user. Administration of the software is great from the web interface and very intuitive. This is truly a software that could be 'Set it and forget it'. As well, support has very fast response times from very knowledgeable technicians.
What do you dislike about the product?
Disabling recovery for users isn't very robust. Essentially is it disabling the icon in the System Tray. The application is still available in the start menu and could be accessed by the end user without any effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this software to backup machines in case of a user having a device lost or stolen, or even encrypted by Ransomware. Its a fantastic backup software that meets that need easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Price per GB was very competitive with options such as Amazon Glacier

i am using this software for my domain from last 3 years & it is very useful & intelligent app which start sync/backup according to our policies, i can also review all my devices from its gui which is very supportive. we can set policies & manage storage as required.
What do you dislike about the product?
when adding a user to an older account unable to get old data. or restore earlier.

Druva saves me a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
With a lot of traveling users, data backup is very important. Druva does that job in the background for each and every laptop without disturbing the users and almost effortless for the administrators.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin GUI could be improved. I do not find all the features where I search them...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Druva to backup data on mobile devices. In case of a loss we are able to track down the device so that we know where it is.

Easy Mobile Share
What do you like best about the product?
Able to share through many type of devices, able to assign folder rights to end-users so that administrators are no longer engage permission requests.Flexibility on server side so that we do not need commercial clouds any more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users have to download the files in order to view on mac devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the sharing problem through mobile devices. Most importantly, its a custom private cloud option solves our data security problem.
Excessive Backup solution software
What do you like best about the product?
Best in Druva inSync on premise is Outlook MAPI Backup and all the Client backup is safe in a place where no Virus\Malware is entered. Seamless backup and restore which can user can do by it-self. Especially to talk about Governance is the great feature to analyse the what files are exactly backing and how much they occupy, Deduplication is the best in it as we can do. 1:2 ratio. I can say it proud my organisation is 0% downtime on Userdata availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is bit and sad to write but the reporting features has be to improved or flexible. InSync Should allow Administrators to create reporting according to their way of reporting, like querying the application to gather few information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client Data backup and restore from anywhere. 0% downtime of data availability.
Very easy top notch company and answered all questions in very great detail.

Customer service with the product knowledge was superb. The amount of time that it took exceeded our expectations to get setup and into production.

Druva Phoenix Cloud Backups
The savings are real and this stuff works!!
We started looking into cloud backups after multiple acquisitions resulted in expensive and diverse backup scheme's across our enterprise. We needed a simple, inexpensive and scalable solution. We found that with Phoenix. Many of the other solutions we evaluated required us to manage our own infrastructure, yet they called themselves “backup solutions”; which really was just servers running on EC2 or supporting cloud storage endpoints. Further, and likely most importantly, the backup strategy they used wasn't as efficient as Druva’s Phoenix. The magic sauce that makes me so confident in this is the incremental forever and deduplication technology that Druva has invented. Where other technologies required taking full backups at set intervals (weekly/monthly) Druva doesn’t, after the initial seeding, it's always an incremental. The result is, lower cloud storage costs over time, shorter backup windows, and less requirements for bandwidth.

What do you like best about the product?
Druva InSync is extremely simple to use and nearly 100% automated. You can be as selective as you want and choose only which file types or even which folders get backed up.
The interface is nice and clean, and very simple to perform a restore. Great product for the every-day users like me!

The backups can get expensive based on their size, and it can be challenging to stay below your size limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this products to backup our business users' Laptops while they're traveling and on the road. We've come across many instances where we needed to restore user information remotely, and it works!
The Past 6 Months with Druva Insync
What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to configure, the learning curve for anyone new to the software is minimal.
The backups are very fast and you never notice a decrease in machine performance when they are running.
The maintenance of the software is very minimal.
The inSync share is a very easy way for users to share data with others, the password requirement is a very nice feature too.
When a user gets a new machine you simply backup the old, restore to the new and it takes less than 10 mins for most users, this is a phenomenal time saver.
Overall we are very impressed with Druva, even the reps are friendly and helpful. It has helped on more than one occasion to avoid data loss or a slow recovery.

The only feature that we dislike currently is that the on-premise version of inSync gets updated much later than the cloud based version.
Having to wait so long for the new features can be frustrating but it is a very minimal complaint in the grand scheme of things

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit for us is the time to setup new machines, Under 10 mins from the time we receive the old machine until the data is restored and fully working.
We also have many traveling users so making sure we always have a backup of their data for when machines get broken saves so many problems down the line.
We have found when data corrupts on a hard drive it is not an issue either, you simple........restore to a new HDD/SSD its that simple and easy.
