Great product, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Druva Phoenix was very easy to set up initially. Their support staff has also been very knowledgeable and helpful when questions did come up
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is well thought out and well built, no dislikes so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding backup and restore capabilities to multiple virtual platforms has been very helpful. We can now restore info in a matter of minutes
Solid Product
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use. Deployment and implementation was painless and the product just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had the product for about a year so far and have not found anything I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our endpoint backups and Office 365 backups. We've realized how easy and reliable this is and wish we had started backing up to Druva InSync sooner.
Druva - IT just works!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The product just works. Phoenix backups run each night without error and the WAN acceleration is excellent! Druva's dedup and compression is also excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
When utilizing the DR piece, the VM spins up on the AWS backbone. Setup is a little clunky and you absorb the AWS costs if running in their cloud. Would be nice to see Druva bring this feature into their own portal to minimize costs and increase capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved issues with speed and performance with our nightly backups. Druva makes it so easy!

Seamless Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Great communication during roll out. Handoff from CDW > Druva sales > Druva support was handled really well. Was kept in the loop and always had access to the personnel needed. Support was knowledgeable about specific issues and provided immediate solutions as we set up Phoenix to handle VMWare and SQL backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial credit allocation was confusing. Should work out since credits are supposed to roll over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Upgrading our offsite backup process. Druva provides efficient data management and control.
Easiest installation ever.
What do you like best about the product?
Colin Mcalpine and Ryan May were amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not realize it would not backup SQL Express editions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing cloud storage for our Virtual Infrastructure. We are in the beginning stages. So far I have been impressed with the ease of setup.

Do not over look these guys because you don't recognize the name. you can get the same quality product at lower cost.
Druva Phoenix - Great Product, Great Support, Great Experience!
What do you like best about the product?
I find the best aspect of Druva is their support team. They are very quick to respond, very professional, really good at educating you while helping you resolve any issue. They are also great at learning your system and business to customize the solution around such. My salesrep also has been great, Colin always reaches out to check in and see how things are going...you dont see that often with other vendors/solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant say that I have found anything I dislike about Druva yet so far in my journey with them. Everything has been smooth so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previous to going with Druva, we had an old Symantec Backup Exec Tape Solution. This would only run nightly and if we had a bad backup, we would have to wait for the following nights tape to complete in order to have a reliable disaster recovery. Now that we are with Druva we are backed up a few times a day with much more control and flexibility utilizing Druva. We also now have a great DR solution in place with Druva.

Easy To Implement
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to its user friendly interface it is easy for our users to back up their files via Druva InSync. It is also an install-and-forget program that usually doesn't throw errors or issues. For monitoring purposes, I never had to search the database and client status. This one of its desirable characteristics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users have reported high CPU problems while starting backup. We could not find logs that correspond to them after we analyzed their computers and found the core reason for the CPU problem. It is therefore not well developed in the logging structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva is a simple tool to back up the data of your user to a single server. It also offers the privacy option to decide whether your data are encrypted or not for every separate user. This creates a transparent environment for security policies between users and companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very practical tool for onprem situations and works without too much pain. I would however recommend that you use OneDrive as a solution to back up the user data if you are one of office 365 customers. You must take your general WAN bandwidth into consideration, because it consumes some of it.

J'adore ne pas avoir à m'inquiéter de sauvegarder mes fichiers importants. Druva fonctionne silencieusement en arrière-plan et crée une sauvegarde de mon PC. Je ne m'inquiète plus de perdre mes données.

L'application n'a pas de points négatifs. Cependant, elle devrait fournir plus de notifications. Elle devrait me dire exactement ce qui est sauvegardé et ce qui ne l'est pas. Je pense que c'est une fonction réservée aux administrateurs pour l'instant.
Quels sont les problèmes que the product résout, et en quoi cela vous est-il bénéfique?
Je garde tous mes fichiers en sécurité avec inSync. Je peux travailler sur plusieurs appareils. Les données se synchronisent parfaitement entre les appareils.

Great easy to use product to protect critical data on our companies laptops
What do you like best about the product?
Once we setup templates for different types of users, it was easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting remote users to use it...we have to be proactive in getting them to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data protection for lost/stolen laptops or for disgruntled employees that leave the company.

Would definitely setup templates for different types of users...makes install so much esier!
