A great All-In-One and easy to set solution to start addressing Cloud security.
What do you like best about the product?
The SaaS version of the product is easy to set up and provides a great single pane of glass consolidated overview of multiple Public Cloud environments.
Orca's prioritization engine based on vulnerability exposure is particularly relevant for younger and less-cyber mature organizations.
A very flexible query language with automation capabilities.
The pricing model is reasonable.
The customer success team is very attentive to our needs and feedback.
A product which is constantly evolving the current platform is already much more advanced and feature-rich than when we started using it a year ago.

What do you dislike about the product?
Orca's agentless technology provides less visibility on systems' activity such as applications loaded in memory.
Monitoring for Kubernetes and Docker vulnerabilities and misconfigurations could be more developed.
The solution is not as mature on GCP as AWS, they usually start rolling new dashboards and detection rules for AWS and it eventually gets adapted to the other Cloud providers.
As of today lack of a customer community or advisory board.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining visibility into our live running Infrastructure and detecting vulnerable components that could lead the path to a cyber attack.
We didn't have any vulnerability management capabilities a year ago, Orca served as one of our stepping stones to prioritize and start mitigating.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
After having tested many different solutions, I consider Orca as the most adapted for mid-size/scale-up businesses with a small security team and a limited budget.
If you subscribe to the product I would suggest relaying demands to your customer success manager for a customer community. I deem Orca will set up a Slack channel and website+events with their customers at some point but right now that's missing to exchange use cases.

Orca Security is building a really nice tool
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is good but not as intuitive as I would expect from a tool like this but you can find what you need in a couple of clicks. Customer support from the other side is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned, the interface is modern but not that intuitive. It is a bit hard to find information about a vulnerable package or file location for example in the web GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Orca Security we have a nice overview of vulnerable packages, end-of-live operational systems and so without installing extra agents or software on the servers or virtual machines.

It gives full visibility towards our account. We can access, add additional capabilities.

Orca Security - very useful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly thorough and scans so many resources. As you don't need to install agents onto all of your instances, it is painless to set up, allowing for quick onboarding.
There is a deep JIRA integration which helps me action findings quickly and to the right team.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of information presented which can be hard to jump into sometimes, it can talk some time to navigate the product but the vast amount of data and insight is invaluable and outweighs this drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work on the infosec team at my company as a Program Manager, I use Orca to assess our vulnerabilities help me prioritize the most important work for the Engineering and Operations teams.

So far there really is not anything notable that we do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud resource inventory - We cannot secure what we do not know about.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a PoC and it will prove itself by finding things you are missing today.

What do you like best about the product?
Exceptionally easy to onboard accounts for cloud providers. Orca enumerates assets throughout the cloud accounts with a simple service account which reduces the likelihood of overlooking assets or of Shadow IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vulnerabilities that are remediated either vanish without record or remain with no indication that they have been remediated. It is not very clear when a scan was last run or if a scan is currently running. There were some false positives and some assets were incorrectly marked as being Internet facing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Orca security to provide vulnerability management and cloud posture management for some AWS accounts.

clientless malware detection without any need to operate or maintenance agents, deployments and operations

The downsides of using Orca Security is that it is not a real-time so threats might exist between scans

Malware detection on servers, internal and external vulnerability scans, containers scans, hardening OS and containers, AWS governance.

What do you like best about the product?
Agentless install makes it very easy to deploy and Orca releases new features on a monthy basis. The newer consolidated host view has a good over view of the security posture of any particular cloud asset.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be confusing at times and needs to be simplified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Orca for complete visibility in my cloud from the configuration settings in the cloud to the vulnerabilities in the VM's and containers.
