What about the implementation team?
It takes one week to deploy FortiWeb Web Application Firewall. As part of the deployment process, we create a FortiGate interface, connect FortiWeb to our website server, create virtual web servers in FortiWeb, and write some access control rules for protection purposes.

FortiWeb Web Application Firewall's pricing is suited for small or medium organizations.

FortiWeb Web Application Firewall is deployed on-cloud in our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful of using Fortinet Managed Rules is that organizations can enhance their web application security posture without the need for manual rule creation and maintenance. Fortinet's security team monitors emerging threats and updates the rules accordingly, ensuring that the WAF remains effective against the evolving threat landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don't have anything to dislike about fortinet products not just the managed rules product.

It helps me to enhance the security.

Not enough capabilities to detect things such as bots and anomolys.

being able to be deployed locally is huge in terms of configuration and scalability. It protects for many intrusion attempts, web filtering and stops malware.
The Great AWS WAF
What do you like best about the product?
Fortinet Managed AWS WAF provides very brilliant rulesets that can be applied to the AWS Environments. The ruleset can be applied to protect the web application from different threat vectors and attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The facilities provided were very limited when compared to the fortiweb appliance. The AWS-WAF does not provide machine learning algorithms and Facilities to detect the threats, anomalies occurring on the web application Environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the Fortinet Managed Rules for AWS WAF, I was protecting the Web applications from the OWASP attacks, implementing the rulesets that are required to reduce the exposure of the application to the threat and vulnerability. The benefits realized after AWS WAF implementation was

Fortinet Managed Rules for AWS WAF is a ruleset that we can use on AWS WAF after subscribing.
This ruleset is an excellent tool that we can use on AWS WAF to protect Applications easily from OWASP top 10 attacks.

It does not provide many features like FortiWeb Appliance (such as Machine Learning to detect Anomaly and Bot Traffic)
