What do you dislike about the product?
A very professional quality of service has been maintained where I have not had any problem that is not resolved quickly and in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supervision from the cloud makes it possible to have perfect monitoring that everything is going well and that all the work is going correctly from the datadog facility

Perfect tool to monitor Data, Incidents anything at glance
What do you like best about the product?
Easier to navigate UI. Shows most of the information and various customisable dashboard.

Steep the learning curve to understand how to customise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metric monitor dashboard is super helpful in generating triggers and reports of any downtimes, excessive CPU usage etc.
Datadog is an Awesome tool to monitor and analyze your logs, metrics in graphical format.
What do you like best about the product?
They have the best UI/Interface to build dashboards and compare data metrics with each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are not up to the mark when it comes to 3rd party integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving all the problems regarding monitoring our cloud environment and helping us to arrive at concurrent decisions in a faster way.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a big fan of the time filter UI; it's incredibly straightforward and clear. Creating dashboards is very easy and intuitive. As a backend developer I can't imagine a more useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about datadog is that it's very easy to have duplicate monitors or dashboards that end up double charging the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadog makes incidents and anomalies visible and obvious. Before datadog the only way of knowing there was an outage was via customer reports.
Great experience to record the logs of our automatic ML services
What do you like best about the product?
During our automatic scripts (from Machine Learning services) we send various messages to logging, which then get sent to datadog. This is both to document various steps of the data, but also to show crashes when they happen. Then from the DataDog interface we can search for production/staging services, we can search by date, we can search by key words.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have the logs from only the past 2 weeks, so we can not find earlier errors. But in general we catch the errors within 2 weeks, so this is not such a big limitation after all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Record various steps in our ML process (so we can check quality of data), but also identify if there was a crash to know at which step it found.
Then build dashboards that mesure the SLO of our services (like what % of requests were met, what computing resources were used).

Its subscription cost it too high with lowest of keeping 3 months data in backup with high subscription cost.

Datadog is the best monitoring tools!
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Datadog for a while and we are generally satisfied with the product. However, we feel that the support could be improved as it can be slow to respond, and the payment processes are not always clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is bad, often slow. The help is not enough. Also, many times the prices are not clear and you can get surprises on your bill.

With DataDog, you can easily monitor your entire stack, from servers to applications to databases, to get a detailed view of performance, utilization, and other metrics.

Datadog is excellent for monitoring your infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup to monitor clusters in Databricks running Apache Spark. Pre-setup dashboards help to quickly gain insights on a infrastructure level without the needs of DevOps.

The pricing on the Datadog website could be more precise, such as allowing using a calculator for price estimates

Ease of use, comprehensive reports, flexibility on the data you can track and real-time monitoring

UI can be improved by making it more user friendly.

It gives us the full detail of an error when it occurs in our web app or on our API and helps us decide when implementing a feature.
