Creative user interface and easy navigation
What do you dislike about the product?
A little complicated for a common person to work on if you do not the technology
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful in solving the data problem and with the help of Datadog all the data can be stored at one place and is easy to manage and the team members can utilise it as and when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
-The price can sometimes be hard to justify to the rest of the company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDog is providing observability to all of our enterprise workloads
Very good observability particularly good in a serverless world
What do you like best about the product?
Datadog is a perfect APM solution that is probably the best for serverless environments such AWS Lambda or Fargate monitoring. They are also able to monitor standard infrastructure, but where I think they differentiate themselves is with serverless compute.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can become quite expensive. This cost adds on top of an already expensive AWS infrastructure monthly bill which can make this cost prohibitive for some, but overall it's well worth the price if you can afford it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There aren't many options to monitor application performance (APM) for serverless environments, but Datadog is one of them, and it does a great job. We looked at other vendors, but none of them would provide the same level of monitoring that DataDog did.
i am monitoring my applications/services using datadog
What do you like best about the product?
monitoring is very easy, can see live log.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing as of now, i like everything in datadog
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
loging,monitoring,tracking issues in different environment
Vast tooling capabilities and resources!
What do you like best about the product?
We are just beginning to explore all the functionality that Datadog offers, and it's so good it's almost overwhelming for a small team. Really appreciate how they onboard new clients and put together customized resources!
What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned in the like response, it's almost a dislike that they have so many tools because it can be overwhelming. We wanted to prioritize security and posturing, which they are just starting to invest in. They're very responsive to user feedback, so I have no doubt they'll only continue to grow and improve their assortment and ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadog is helping us with User Monitoring and gathering some alerting for errors, outages, and uptime. We're likely going to scale with them over time, but I imagine they can do quite a bit with their larger enterprise clients.
Much more than just logging
What do you like best about the product?
I was impressed with the integrations part of DataDog.
Our main goal was to centralize activity and audit logs of critical systems in our organization.
We were able to integrate most of our systems in a matter of hours:
JumpCloud, Gsuite, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Auth0 and more.
The instructions were easy to follow, and an integration usually takes only a few minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?
Log parsing could be improved.
The logging format is not standard across machines when you have multiple devices with different OS.
If you want standardization, you must set up pipelines to ingest and parse the logs, which I found a bit tedious.

Our motivation for choosing DataDog was security and compliance.
We are using DataDog as our Siem: our logs are centralized, we keep track of our IS KPIs, and we set up monitoring and alerts as needed.

Awesome utility for us, you guys keep cranking amazingly useful features at high velocity
What do you like best about the product?
Overview of the full infrastructure, and integration between all layers, (Infra, Databases, Traces,).
Every time we see a "New" badge we have to try it because it "must be good". So thank you for your effort on building those features, and thank you for releasing only "high quality" and complete features that provide ACTUAL value (vs competitors, that don't really do much and lag behind features)
Also big thank you for full OpenTelemetry integration/support. and the Datadog OTLP agent integration.
Keep up the amazing work

What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of heavier lock-in lately, dd-trace is getting a big monopoly to collect reliably all things (traces, profiles, and now, Security (ASM)). I wish there was an open standard for that, or you guys would release an open standard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It all started with one central place for logs, monitors, alerts, traces.
It then evolved into a central place for service catalog overview, network map/dependencies calculator view.
I hope it will evolve further into one tool to rule them all (More verticals, PagerDuty full replacement, Zoom full replacement, JIRA full replacement)
I'm sure you can kick their butt with your high quality and capacity to execute.

Dashcon a door to future evolution in technology
What do you like best about the product?
Workshops provided good insights and the keynotes showcased what the company is focused on and where they plan to be in future
What do you dislike about the product?
Workshops could have been trimmed into smaller sections
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadog seems to solve some scalibility issue which might be leverage in our environment

What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses a number of DD features. We are heavily invested in the dashboards and monitors. We have DD integrated with Slack and Pager Duty and it a primary source of notifications that drives actions w/in our Operations team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I outwardly dislike. I consider myself an intermediate user, so gaining training and experience using the DD tools is interesting to me. I am especially interested in some of the newer features described at the Keynote today. Service Catalog, Security analysis, Workflows are all features that will integrate nicely w/ our current process suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our current implementation of DD is mostly driven around monitoring and alerting of production software and critical systems in our infra.
Its very good at quality and we are the prime partners to them
What do you like best about the product?
Data Integration Quality is perfect in the place
What do you dislike about the product?
Little bit expensive but most of the customers like the quality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
