APPD really helps in knowing the flow of business transactions and analyzing the issue quickly

I loved everything as of now. Still doing more R &D everyday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing which microservice went down and creating alerts and knowing health status of all applications with response time in single page.

What do you like best about the product?
Network monitoring give us end to end visibility and it has adoption of AIOps through an ecosystem of best-in-class technologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i didn't any issues. I am happy using AppDynamics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can isolate the network performance issues. I have clear visibility of network as well as application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I found that AppDynamics helps me to monitor my network in a more efficient way. It offers detailed data, it has a light load on the server, it helps to find issue easily since it has clear visibility and it constantly monitors the stability and the performance of the networks.
Very good APM tool just need to improve user interface

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Appd doesn't have any roadmap to add AI/ML and many more capabilities to on-premise setup which they already have in SAAS from years.
2. Appd license model is very difficult to understand and then if we want to manage per application, it is very difficult.
3. Appd Synthetic is having many flaws - stability, manage PSA health, support etc, raise my enhancement but no luck
4. Appd DB events are moving to Analytics even it is there in Event service cluster which restrict us in proactive alerting, reporting and analysis.
5. Appd doesn't have any integration or way to analysis threads and provide the root cause at thread level.

a. Faster RCA - provided the visibility the issue is around Infra, Application, DB or user experience
b. Prevent P0,P1 - prevented P0 *P1 by proactive anomaly detection using baseline
c. End user productivity - By increasing end user performance by improving on error and heavy call/methods.
d. Automation - Using the auto remediation and auto thread dump collections
e. KPIs - Earlier their was no way to measure the Service health, now with appd, we have such KPIs.
f. Management Dashboard - With the help of analytics/metric, we can present management related values or cost which help them to take decision faster.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommends to have a business requirement listed down and then select the tool. For my organization use case , Appd suits best as we have done POC with Dynatrace, appd and NEw-Relic , from all the three Appd scored highest.
Use SAAS for better AIOPs feature and being ahead in technology and solutioning.

Application and transaction visibility, and also the dashboard.

Cloud infrastructure discovery needs to be improved. Containers monitoring needs to be improved as well.
