What do you like best about the product?
Stability, and performance. Patching is fairly easy
What do you dislike about the product?
complex at first, but once up to speed with sys admin work, they are very reliable

RHEL 8 for Apache is complicated when sestatus enforcing is on

Not a complicated maintenance and easy deployments
What do you dislike about the product?
Virtual memory for JVM allocation is still a challenge, but the latest micro services resolved this

Customer support is very responsive
RHEL - Good For Security And Enterprise VM Management
What do you like best about the product?
In terms of security, all of the innovation Red Hat does with linux is very compelling. I like how it is a widely know and supported platform and you are able to use tools like Red Hat Satellite as a go-between for package management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the cost per VM and that some of the tools like subscription-manager can be complicated. There can be some ramp-up time in learning the tools and feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of datacenter-wide or company wide deployment, easy VM provisioning and package management.
Simple Linux review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the file structure, product integration, and speed at which RHEL adapts to modern advancements.
What do you dislike about the product?
For us, the air-gapped network support is hard to find solutions to our problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will be in the near future our solution to the current spike in VMWare costs and ownership.

Industry standard. Strong compatibility between versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. Forks are fun and all but when you want the real thing at Enterprise scale it would be easier to convince my boss when the cost is lower.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a fairly easy migration from one version to the next.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to get off of once the versioning gets old enough, and is no longer supported.

Is it giving us a solution to hosting many of the servers that we are using.
Linux over Windows
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize my experience in a desktop environment in Paramount in my workflows. Development is my passion and is so much easier than on windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislikes RHEL in anyway. I only dislikes the fact that business are scared of migrating from the Windows Desktop environment to Linux.

What do you like best about the product?
Team is collaborative, adheres to industry trends, secure, and supported. Always pushing OS in enterprise to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Always works best in Red Hat ecosystem. Secondary systems are always afterthought which disadvantages users not locked into the ecosystem.

Business requires a supported OS image that is safe and secure. RHEL makes everything easy all in one package.
Smooth and stable
What do you like best about the product?
Red Hat has in our experience always been smooth with very predictable outcomes, and has proven itself to be a stable platform to build our applications on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes patching can be problematic, and the kernel feature set can lag behind other distros
