It's a good experience, we are using many fetaures of gitlab like ci/cd, version control etc
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is Gitlab Ci/Cd, we have very complex process for the while process bur with Gitlab pipelines most of the part is automated, and all the verification and deployment us handled by it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't got any negative points till now, it's a great experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From the dev testing to the end to end testing, all are configured and automated by using gitlab pipelines.

What do you like best about the product?
It has very good Issue management, bug tracking and boards. Software innovation is made possible by the GitLab DevSecOps platform, which aims to enable development, security, and operations teams to produce better software more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When pushing or extracting source codes, speed is slower than on Github. In addition, the price is more than for the competing products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very good solution for bug tracking and hence saves time. It allows all team members to collaborate in every phase of the project.
Collaborative Experience of GitLab
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about GitLab is being able to have a group-focused source code repository. It's simple, and gets the job done. Developers that have no prior experience working with a source code repository will not have a hard time using GitLab to fulfill source code repository needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is no built-in tutorial for the interface. The UI could also be improven.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab helps me collaborate on coding applications with a group. It allows you to keep track of each other's source code and push and pull from remote repositories seamlessly
Great tool with all customisation options
What do you like best about the product?
It has great UI, code review is easy , it has mobile friendly app. Projects management is easy.

I think its hard to automate using command line tools, UI is easy. Nothing or dislike as such.

We use gitlab to host all of our code. We have CI CD pipelines running in gitlab.

What do you like best about the product?
GitLab has great UI, easy to use, GitLab helps to manage projects easily, easy to review code, GitLab API is easy to use in your project. It also has great community to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
GitLab is little tough to integrate from command prompt on windows or mac. I can't find any other defects or bugs in this software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it efficiently manages the source code and the versions of each code base regardless of team size of the project

Its user interface is far inferior to that of its competitors like github

It solved my problem of version controlling and also majorly the continuous delivery of the code to the production server on condition and time based. Ot made everything automated
Great CI/CD platform
What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab runners extenteds the standard git platform with a great platform for CI/CD implementations. It has easy to provision CI runners for you needs and the defenitions of pipelines and integrations are easy and very straight forward making it a must have platform. The built in repository is also great and easy to implement making it great for daily use and even scheduled tasks can be done in the CI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be better it seems like it's constantly changing for the worse hopefully the better in the long time but it's not only on Gitlab it seems it's wider problem with others adapting the same layout which I find very confusing at this moment and harder to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab provides as the man git platform for version control and much more such as container and package registry, extensive easy to use CI/CD platform and other standard features such as code reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
Personally, I love GitLab CI. It's highly flexible and enables me to configure complex CI/CD pipelines. If you have sufficient funds, it can meet all your developers' needs (MR approvals, Docker Registry, Mermaid support, etc.), although it can be quite expensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of premium features is quite high. Additionally, I require a more flexible method to manually execute certain pipelines. Please provide an interface for initiating jobs with desired parameters, similar to Jenkins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize it to build CI/CD pipelines, which involve running tests, linters, and releasing new versions of our applications. Additionally, we employ it for running deployment pipelines, which utilize Ansible scripts.

Gitlap gives a self-hosting option and is effective at organizing code versions and tracking changes. It also enables collaboration among team members. CLI is simple to use, and it's simple to automate push/pull with GitLab. Easy integration with Jenkin servers.

friendly Navigation and search need to improve. There is no documentation for GitLab, and it is challenging to troubleshoot
