Solid Cloud Security Platform with Some Room to Grow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how much visibility it gives us across all our cloud environments. It does a great job detecting threats and keeping things compliant without needing a ton of manual effort. The real-time monitoring and automatic remediation features are super helpful, especially when you’re juggling multiple cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel a bit cluttered at times. There’s definitely a learning curve. Also, getting some of the integrations up and running takes more trial and error than I’d like - more documentation or guidance would go a long way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly using it to keep our cloud environments secure and compliant. It helps us catch misconfigurations early, monitor container workloads, and stay aligned with standards. Basically, it’s our go-to for cloud security posture management.
Streamlined and intelligent cloud security
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has AI integrated into it which saves lots of time. And its also great that is has protective barriers and unified dashboard for ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first the UI is a little overwhelming with its depth of features. Initial setup was a bit difficult for me and licensing can be a bit complex which can slow down productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud is helping us unify our cloud security operations and housekeeping across different enviorments. Its helping us with CSPM, runtime threat detection, and automated responses. It also helped us reduce our alert fatigue and the AI has helped us improve our productivity for fixing our issues.
Cortex Cloud is lightweight and compact, very ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly effective for teams managing distributed systems or IoT devices and allows both beginners and advanced users to manage complex workflows without a steep learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users might also find the custom alerting and automation tools limited, compared to other leading platforms. The pricing isn’t very transparent, especially for enterprise-level use, and the billing model could benefit from more clarity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its integration with popular DevOps tools and solid documentation makes onboarding relatively smooth. I particularly appreciate the role-based access controls and the ability to monitor system health across various environments in a single dashboard.
Powerhouse for cloud security with clean dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Though we had hybrid cloud with AWS and on-premise for production, I specifically used Cortex cloud for demo testing environment against few AWS native security tools as well as IAC terraform templates. Unlike other clouds, Cortex cloud simplifies solutions providing a single dashboard to monitor threats. Also, no juggling between consoles and writing custom scripts. Absolutely loved it as its easy to learn and understand. Time saving with post deployment fixes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some DevOps automation tasks need workaround like custom scripts for niche use cases. Felt like some features like cortex XDR need some tuning to understand. All good, other than that. Loved it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute time saver for post deployment fixes. Easy to understand and monitor the threat analysis in a simplified dashboard. Best for compliance checks!
Cortex Cloud is the BEST..
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how user-friendly the interface is. It makes navigating complex data much simpler, and the integration with our existing tools was surprisingly smooth, saving us a lot of setup time initially. It just feels intuitive to use day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform feels a little slow during peak usage times, which can be frustrating when you're on a tight deadline. I've also found that exporting very large datasets occasionally encounters errors or takes longer than expected, which can disrupt workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud helps us find security problems in our containers before they go live, like checking for known flaws. It also keeps an eye on them while they're running to stop hacks or suspicious activity automatically. This makes our apps safer overall and helps us meet security standards more easily.
great
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. It helps to boost engineering efficiency by providing clear metrics and standards. It's great for teams that want to be more aligned and scalable!
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup is slightly complex. Moreover, maintaining integrations would require consistent efforts (frequent use) and alignment from team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with API security because it enforces standards across services. It can help document and monitor APIs, which reduces risk. Cortex Cloud helps solve API security and risk-based vulnerability issues by enforcing standards across services. With scorecards and integrations, it ensures APIs are documented, secured, and monitored. This reduces risk as it flags vulnerable services early.
