Cyberark PAM is a great product.
What do you like best about the product?
Cyberark PAM is great tool for managing and rotating passwords. The tool manages ensures our passwords are secure and rotated on a regular and consistent basis which helps us address several audit findings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Cyberark PAM user interface is a bit clunky and could use some refining.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PAM is configured and managed to ensure that our passwords are secure and rotated on a regular and consistent basis. This ensures several audit items are addressed.

Good suite with a steep deployment and learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Can be a very powerful and comprehensive PAM suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
On prem deployment and user/administrator learning curves can be steep which inhibit uptake

CyberArk - the standard of PAM
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is perhaps one of the best when it comes to the PAM space. Making things easy for the end user makes and admins life so much easier. Other providers do lack this ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Robust reporting. CyberArk lacks indepth reports that other PAM provider have. Its very unfortunate and CyberArk seems to fall behind the 8 ball on this catagory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, CyberArk is solving our privledge account situation across all platforms. This helping us reach the next level of security and helping us with serveral audit findings.

The Project time takes bit longer because of various complex componets

Both on-premises or cloud version, multi level encryption, possibility of integrations with many systems

Documentation - it is getting better each year, but there is still plent of things to improve

Well documented, stable and very useful environment. Also good level of support.

GUI of fat client, (PrivateArk) still looks like win98.

The product allows audit compliance and managed access controls with the flexibility to allow privileged access to multiple applications with customisation to enhance the end user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product introduced a new user interface "v10"some versions back and although the interface is the primary access point for users, many of the administrative functions still require the admin to revert to the "classic" interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product helps with the issue of managing passwords in line with password polices and making the passwords available only when required and only to those approved to use them.

The support model could do with some improvement.

Providing privileged remote access to internal and external customer systems in a tightly monitored way.
It takes you to a new dimention of security.

Flexibility - in terms of configuration and systems\apps which are supported. Reliability - HA works perfectly. Security - provides security on highest level.

Sometimes configuration isn't intuitive It not gives flexibility in layout modifications. Pricing model could be more flexible.
