Product is Great but the Interface Could be Better
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using MySQL. It works relatively well and efficiently. The syntax is about what you'd expect from SQL and the return time and size of the databases are great. Also is easy to integrate with Tableau
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to getting a good interface though, I would recommend finding something other than the default MySQL Workbench. It's awkward to navigate and I believe there are better (free) options out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm pulling sales and production data to analyze. I've been able to look at the skew of sales deals and prices for the organization to better optimize pricing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use DBeaver or another tool to actually access the data rather than MYSQL workbench. This is especially true if you want to use something other than MySQL later on.

It can be installed on different operating systems. MySQL is flexible. MySQL helps to store data in tables. It views data in a simple format. It can easy to use and can understand easily.

Nothing. It helps to create queries easily. I think it is a best tool.

Our software runs on both Windows and Linux. This tool support to both operating systems Windows and Linux.

It is the open source licensing software. Because it has suitable for the small businesses.

It can work for many web applications, in addition the doducmentacion and the community that uses it is very large.

This is fine for medium storage websites, but when the database is robust, the server response may be slow.

It is the manager of the database of the site, therefore, mysql has been the platform that has supported the storage of all the products, clients and images of the page.

Flexibility and speed when working with structured data and fast response time when quering database.

Lack of ability to work with unstructured data and lack of ability to work with big data

It will be highly useful when modifying data base or to create new data base tables or to see what is currently stored in databse by writing querys.
Great product for the price.

I love the community version. It gives you the ability to dive in without a costly implementation. Beside that, there is support available in any number of forums and groups for the low low cost of free.

Nothing really. The product just works like it should. I have been using since their pre-oracle days...

We needed data storage and it provided it.

Give it a try. As with anything, make sure your system has the horsepower needed to work the application correctly.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is an open source database which provides security and data integrity. It have more features that increases the performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
MySQL is not suitable for very large data.

I uses MySQL for easily managing data in tables using queries

MySQL works but it’s not my first choice.

It reliably stores data. Can’t really go wrong with it.

It’s not necessarily the fastest or most secure option for data storage. It’s not the worst, but there are other options which date MySQL.

It’s used for a relatively major SAAS within my current job, and it is also used with basically every website I’ve ever made for clients.

It’s very useful, but also not the only way to store data. Weigh your options. It may be what you’re looking for.
