Easy to use Database Software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and the queries are identical to other systems and easy to configure or look up how to's in the online marketplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software that I was using with the database required MySQL, so not really anything that I truly dislike about it, other than the multi-user options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is an open source solution that offers powerful features as a Relational Database Management System, including monitoring tools, backup and recovery, high availability and easy migration from other databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the MySQL environment is fairly user friendly, there remains much to be desired within their navigation systems and user help guides within the environment. Committing changes and updates require entire page refresh which can sometimes take quite long and can be quite tedious at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using MySQL for Customer Relationship Management systems and to support the creation of web applications by tertiary level students.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
MySQL is a suitable application for small to mid sized database solutions, it is quite easy to set up and the interface is pretty user friendly. You won't need any SQL expert to setup and administer this system.

there is really nothing to dislike about it if you're working on a small project

I like the simplicity of the tool. It is easy for beginners. Best DB for any proof of concept, easy to create and turnaround time is fast.

Nothing much. It is clear in what it is doing, May be add more features for enterprise wide DB.

We use this mostly for POC projects. Since we different use DB product we were not able to use.

I have been using MySQL from last 5 years and I would like to use this software for all the application where data connection is required. This is the user friendly database and easy to manipulate and maintain the queries.

I have been using MySQL for my all applications So no dislike from my side as of now

Maintaining huge data through MySQL as a back end process and it’s easy to understand and manipulation is very simple.

I think it's the easiest choice especially for the new programmers, and it works great with PHP. It's free

It has some bugs, and I think Oracle has some preferences to other products.

What do you like best about the product?
Light weighted than all other RDBMS. Option of writing very well and performance effective queries. It is cost effective and scalable database. Sql query are very good at performance level. Integration of third party tool is possible.

UI needs some fatures for better user experience.
