I would like to recommend everyone who are in primary or mid level to understand SQL they can use it without any doubt

We use multiple mysql instances. Overall performance us good. Clustering is a plus

Very easy to use. Can perform reverse engineering from the available data to create eer models as well. Very good user interface. Most importantly its a free source.

Home screen needs some improvement. Nothing much to dislike in particular.

h ease of using the workbench, plugins which can be added to the work bench to make a developer's work super easy

There is nothing much to dislike, the IDE seems perfect for Relational Database Management

Large scale database access and object storage.

What do you like best about the product?
lightweight strong rich featured software, MySQL gives all functions needed to build basic and advanced software.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main issues I face in relational databases, I can't store and retrieve arrays of data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
developing complex quires for different reports in seconds in my limited-capabilities local machine! I built a query to get the result of a table multiplied by itself of about 800 records (800*800), MySQL gives me about 700000 records in 30 seconds although I'm using few functions inside!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use multiple databases, different users for everyone for the matter of security
don't use remote MySQL if you don't need to use your database remotely
add indices for frequently used fields

Kind of open source and other big names coming in the frontline to take over

While there are other options out there, I always end up at MySQL for databases

Simple, straightforward approach to handling databases. Entering records via the web interface can be a breeze since its very user-friendly.

I wish there was a better way to utilize MySQL when it's already installed on a deployed server. There have been times that I've gone with MongoDB because I was having too much trouble with MySQL/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For some of my clients, they like the option of opening MySQL's page and adding records themselves. Especially in regard to HR departments adding members of development teams or restaurants adding menu items into the database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at MongoDB and some of the other database solutions out there, but don't discount MySQL for how easy it is to get started with when developing a website, app, or software that utilizes databases.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick to install and easy to maintain. We prefers MySQL due to its licensing and it can run on Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am scared to manage the mysql ports. Bit worried when database crashes and its difficult to get the data back in shape.

We have been using MySQL database for various client projects. Low cost of ownership is one of the key driving factor for choosing MySQL. Licensing is the another decision factor.

no program supports its potential in a simple way, perfect with php.

its local operation is not very intuitive. it is not possible to develop a mobile application.

A large amount of data can be handled easily. It's easy to write queries and get the desired output.

There is as such nothing to dislike about MySQL. It provides a very good database and can be easily used.

I had used MySQL when I worked in Mindtree. It was really helpful for storing data in form of tables and presenting data.
