Recommendations to others considering the product:
MySQL is a great software but the functionalities are limited. For example it doesn't support stored procedure and other PL/SQL functionalities. So, if you are looking to write PL/SQL queries, I would recommend MS SQL server or the enterprise version of Oracle.
MySQL is a relational database software which is lighter than others and user friendly.

What do you dislike about the product?
it costs alot , the most of my bill is RDS . so i have to be very carefull of full scans it makes my db stuck at 100% and i have to ssh to it to kill that process, i wish there is way to kill it from amazon console

Relational database to store my data and monitor
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it but keep in mind when your database gets very large it will defenitly need indx and redesign and infrastructure actions, try to design with performance in mind to scale up the product without enlarging the instance it costs alot, so understand your buz requirement for example amazon RDS has new type called t2 this charges is less but on trade of if the cpu is almost always less than 50 %.
