Ideal for SQL database management
What do you like best about the product?
Great framework on PHP which makes many of the functionality very high. The ability to view and make changes to databases if needed is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI is not the most easy to read, compared to some other applications that use SQL database management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for our web based data to retrieve the information using php and gathering and analyzing the database information
As far as SQL MySQL is the least worst

MySQL has the cleanest and easiest to use system.

The interface could be updated a little. Has a 90s feel still.

Just usual database problems.

pretty easy to use syntax and also very minimal differences with Oracle DB and others.

I dislike certain features of MySQL like the compatibility of MySql with windows 64 systems . The separators are very hard to find to move the tabs on the editor.

Creating Databases and the benefits are structuring , organizing and storing the useful data.

Everyone is moving to MariaDB, primarily large Linux creators

Compare with MariaDB if using Linux

Can be installed on low configuration machines, easy data creation with simple UI, good performance with integration with front end software

It can be installed on low configuration machines but eventually it will acquire junk memory and slows the system, clearing junks memory will keep it’s health in a good run

MySQL software is so simple to use because it better manages our documents and makes database activites more well. We can daily use this efficient software for managing the relational data in our databases. This software is so user friendly tool. MySQL is best software for the small size business companies for the data storage. Through this efficient software, we can easily store large number of records without any problem. Most businesses companies use the MySQL software for creating the different databases in an easiest way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one problem that we faced while using this software is that MySQL software lack some features such as it lacks some data types. Hence it does not have the ability to create different types of the databases, but its competitors have the great ability to create every types of databases. But still MySQL is an efficient software because we can easily store large amount of records in a more efficient way.

I can daily use this efficient software for managing the relational data in my databases. For me, this software is very user friendly tool. MySQL is best software for the small size business companies for the data storage. Through this efficient software, we can easily store large number of records without any problem. Hangs sometime and slow for heavy reporting

Query selector is too good

This is a lightweight solution, which comes great for small projects and medium sized projects. The workbench app to manage MySQL databases is cool, and it has a diagram tool so that you can visualize tables and create your relationships without having to code them first.
Yet again, this is great for medium or smaller projects, for big data, I do not believe it would be a good choice.

What do you dislike about the product?
The table engines are something that you need to keep a watch on. You might have relationship issues on your tables and the root of problem could be the table engine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is a community edition. IT IS FREE. The open source community is great and it is one of the best choices for your open source projects.
Great experience, It made my work easy to manage and manipulate the data as per my requirements.

I expect some improvement in the speed as I found its speed is less as compare to other servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used MySQL server in initial stage of my professional career, so it didn't let me feel that I'm facing any problem. :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As It is open source plus it is secure and stable. Easy to manage the data/tables. So highly recommended.
