What do you like best about the product?
This database allow you to keep a control of your database by downloading xampp or lampp, with these two software you can create your own local database before migrating to online server.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitation such as security features that you have to configurate to do some purpose

User friendly easy client tool for easy management of multiple databases. Can backup and restore database by writing simple short scripts

Scaling performance according to the volume/load is not always happening

Writing queries to extract data for ad-hoc reports. It is good database for organisation and analysis of data for small to medium sized databases

MySQL is a free-to-use, open-source database that facilitates effective management of databases by connecting them to the software. It is a stable, reliable and powerful solution with advanced features like the following: Data Security, On-Deman Scalability, High Performance, Round-the-clock Uptime, Comprehensive Transactional Support, Complete Workflow Control, Reduced Total Cost of Ownership and the Flexibility of Open Source.
What do you dislike about the product?
MySQL has performance issues as well as some stability issues. The stability issues are mostly related to how the application handles certain functions such as references, transactions and auditing. No to mention, MySQL funcitonality tends to be heavily dependent on addons. You do have to have to continually do performance tuning, security audits and optimize queries in order to keep our web application running smoothly. However, this application is more well suited for small to medium web applications and at the rate of growth of my company, we may need to explore other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company was in need of a data infrastructure to support our web application. Due to the ease and cost of MySQL, we have been able to do just that. We now have a smooth running operation with round-the-clock support when needed. Also, training of employees is diminished due to the ease of use of the application and readily available reference material to help on SQL syntax and other database functions.

MySQL is a great, inexpensive tool for establishing relational database infrastructure to suit a variety of needs.

Free to use, constantly updated, security patches applied promptly. highly customizable , lots of documentation online for lessons and reference purpose.

There are a few stability issues. Poor cataloging, I have never been able to find what I need quickly.

For what I usually need which is to quickly manipulate a database and then more than likely never touch it again, the free version is perfect. I have never used the enterprise version, so I can not speak to its functionality

My SQL is a secure database where we can update, delete, insert our data. it's a very good platform to work and learn as well.
