What do you like best about the product?
For my opinion MySQL is the best web focused database. Also it is good for cloud solutions which gives possibility build services as micro services. There has very good community which gives possibility solve problems
What do you dislike about the product?
The most cons of MySQL is that, Oracle does not provide roadmap. Also it is not full open sourced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of websites which I built are used MySQL. It is very stable, usable & easy to use. SQL is also well adopted.

It is the best available open source SQL with many in built structures.

No support for CTEs. Also, some of the date functions are tedious.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL allows easy use through a simple syntax. Easy and intuitive. It can be used with most frameworks available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for performing migrations from SQL to MySQL could be a very important help. The performance of InnoDB tables could be improved. The user interface and user experience of the platform could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a database solution for our smaller projects that require a relational database. It is usually used by the entire team, integrated into the production chain, and almost everyone uses it for testing.

Highly recommended for carrying out simple projects that do not require a high effort to work with relational databases.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that MySQL has all the required features to completely manage a relational database. It is cross-platform and always compatible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it's a free software, the only real support is the community and the online forums like Stack Overflow. Whereas companies like Oracle have their own support system in place.

I use MySQL to design, implement and connect my application databases both locally and remotely. I have realised that with the help of MySQL I can easily share content and get insights when needed.

Use MySQL for small scale and in-house low-transaction projects. It is the best database management system available with a huge online community. You'll never get stuck in the process of SQL development.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a open source database. We can use web-app and mobile app also.when some complicated data structure then we use MySQL. We can access database info with SQL commands. Also we can create replicate database for multiple use. And it is available in more than 20 platforms including windows,Linux , Unix etc. so it's give excellent work.

In Some big projects it's not efficient and work effectively.

Using mysql create database for website also use SQL commands for performing database operations.and for API call for mobile app used MySQL db.it easy to use.

Easy to use, it is a lightweight tool, there is a lot of documentation on the network, it has advanced functions, it can be integrated with all operating systems and all programming languages.

For a certain number of records, the corporate version must be purchased and license maintenance is expensive

We were able to migrate our records and databases from microsoft sql to mysql in a very simple way and save files in binary format for the development of facial recognition system and fingerprint detector

What I like best about MySQL is how easily we can store huge amount of structured data, also its direct integration with sqoop utility is very good feature

What I dislike about MySQL is we can not store unstructured data into nor we can integrate it with Firebase/Firestore database

First thing which I like most about MySQL is that its totally free of cost which allow me create n number of projects or multiple databases for single project.
Second its easy to learn and easy to use as compare to other complicated database and their usage.
Third its based on Rational Database, so its easy to maintain and get the work done with ease. You can also make even complex structure if you want or if you understand the complexity of structure.
Most commonly people used it with PHP or other languages which are also open source because it will decrease the cost of project, and I think its good Stack.

As per my opinion I didn't find anything wrong with MySQL , because they give us lot of features and complex work we can do with it easily so right I have not a single problem with it.
But in case you want to make large ERP like application then I think you may have to move some other database if you feel its not fit in your requirement.

First of all it allows to make multiple database and allow to create a large data-set with which we can run a complete eCommerce application.
Its free to use because of that it allows to spend make application more better spending money on something else which increase the product quality.
MySQL allows remote login facility so multiple people can connect to same instance and work together which helps to get work done even before deadline.
