What do you like best about the product?
The most user-friendly and reliable software for database. MySQL uses standard form for sql languagae which help to understand very well and even it handles large set of data properly. As i worked in web development and using it help to achieve more and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance is one of thing i don't like. Running large set queries take longer time than expected.

Working for web development is one of the benefits mysql provide. MySQL is very good in working with web development like php and mysql is best combination.

E-commerce, content management, administrative tools. It’s stable, holds a lot of data. I use it on my dedicated servers since 2005.
Great database, super quick to setup

Since it's free, you get to use it for any relational database needs

Not as quick as Amazon's Aurora, wish it had whatever speed enchantments Amazon claims they enhanced

Very easy for me to use and input code given to me by our developer. Once you know what to do it is pretty simple to get the data you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, it gets me everything I need pretty quickly and easily. A while back I ran into a bug where it wouldn't let me open the main window but that has been fixed. Can be a little slow to open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting out the real-time data we need without assistance from the developer!

Ask you developer, they will know what is best but I like this product!
Relational DB without the cost.

Free DB platform with large user base and plenty of documentation/crowd support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Index tuning isn't as straight forward as it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using triggers and views to incorporate business logic that would otherwise be maintained in separate applications. Benefit is consistency across sites sharing a DB.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set it up and try it out. Play around with FULLTEXT indexing, triggers, stored procedures and views.
