What do you like best about the product?
When people talk about an APM solution then Dynatrace only came to my mind, It provides a nice correlation between application services & third-party API calls, Also people looking for any next-gen solutions monitorings aswell the products team keep observe and release those feature in their release asap. Also, the code level insights and AI brings root cause analysis - it's awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time to instrumentation with legacy technologies and customized application like C# or desktop applications make more complex and it took more time to investigate the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to identify the problem in a minute and user experience metrics will provide valuable data to the business team to understand how the application performs at the end user level, Overall its amazing tool for Application root cause analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its very good APM solution and can easily be leveraged as an Enterprise full-stack monitoring solutions

What do you like best about the product?
1. The way dynaTrace identifies the slow running transaction/tier, PurePaths and Transactional flow and the Method Hotspots, etc. 2. Dashboards and Alerts/Incidents. 3. Capturing the Errors and Exceptions. 4. Last and the best is no/minimal impact of Overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Entry points: I wish there could be a way we can break the Purepath and show it as Multiple Entry points as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Slow running transactions and Client side issues. Benefits = Simplifies the Complex problems to very simple and Reduced 70-80% of Analysis efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to Use and Easy to Understand. No Overhead.

What do you like best about the product?
This ability to find and diagnose coding errors to enhance experience for users is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing we outright dislike. Enhanced SQL diagnosis would be added value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving user experience issues, finding and fixing SQL errors that are causing system slowdown

The visibility into our systems, the flexibility and power of diagnosis and troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online documentation is lacking at times.

Application performance problems, infrastructure problems, database performance problems. Proactive insight before customer impact occurs.

What I do not like is the system is that the interface is still a bit slow.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the real capability of the product di make a real troubleshooting. Our developer now can find application errors in less time. In the java client i like much the flow view of purepaths of clients request
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like very much the java dynatrace client, i'd like having a a real web ui for administrate the entire apm monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems related of a more rapid discover of problems of our applications, in meantime we can view in dashboards the real map of our data center

Is a very useful product for the rapid discovering of your errors in applications and i can view in realtime the status of monitoring of your data center

What do you like best about the product?
The way to find possible issues, it is pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes an application seems to be very heavy even when it meets the requirements given by Dynatrace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can improve the latency from our java modules, we have a huge gain in performance this year.

Excellent APM product that is easy to deploy, manage and use

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how easy it was to deploy the SaaS vesion of Dynatrace in our environment. We have a lot of tools that have plenty of capability but they don't get a whole lot of use because they would require someone who is an expert to use them. With the SaaS version of Dynatrace, all the admin functions are taken care of by the Dynatrace team (updates, patches, new features, bugs, etc.) and our small shop can focus on getting valuable metrics, alerts and issue resolution from the product. That is very important because despite how many features and how powerful a product is, it will only return value to an organization if it is being integrated and used regularly for its intended purpose; Dynatrace makes that easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick something I dislike, it is that it requires manual intervention to uninstall the cloud agent from servers you want it removed from. The installation part is the easiest of any linux tool I've ever installed, so I don't have a problem with that at all. What i have a problem with, is that in order to 100% remove the product, you will need to manually go to each machine and uninstall the cloud agent... I wish there was a feature that would allow a Dynatrace administrator to remotely uninstall / remove the cloud agent from the Dynatrace management console without having to physically log on to each server to achieve that task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving issues that we've experienced for a long time with storage volumes being slow and over-saturated and SQL databases not scaling properly when under load. We're also monitoring web services and using synthetic web checks to actively monitor specific parts of our production website and production applications. With the SaaS version of Dynatrace we started monitoring our VMware hypervisors and that gave us system specific metrics into our virtual environments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My best recommendation for someone considering it is to deploy the trial version as a proof of concept on your non-production systems and ask for assistance from their pre-sales team if needed. Another thing I strongly recommend is that you attend some of the regional meetups and seminar that Dynatrace organizes, to not only get a feel of the product and the community around it from other actual users but also harvest other ideas and capabilities that Dynatrace could be used for.
