What do you like best about the product?
Troubleshooting, deep dive analysis, performance tuning, alerting and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tech support is not very good. Sometimes condescending.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use DynaTrace AppMon and dcRUM for troubleshooting production issues as well as alerting Ops Bridge as to trouble conditions. We can’t wait to monitor containers and AWS with the new Dynatrace!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a pricey set of tools but worth the money.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the product paints the map. Most of the time we application support group will not have a complete flow diagram of the apps.. Dynatrace helped to know how the apps interact with downstream componnets
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much data is overwhelming. There should be (I believe there is) much filtering options to see a particular component in details.Missing bunch of JMX metrics......
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application Flow Diagram - We use this to build application architecture...(smile face)
It’s Developer friendly ...they can pin point the issues in lower environments before go to production.

Excellent Product with Deep dive capacity.

So far not available across all platform. More of cloud integrations and bit of simplifications will also help .Reorganisation of navigations in client will help as well

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of the product are many and give you flexibility in deployment in your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The vendor’s ability to explain the resources needs required to ensure successful use of the product,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to identify issues, but then development organization has not acted upon them.

We have also been able to identify significant requests coming from regions in which we do not normally do business. It allowed us to discover that someone in the business had decided to outsource some work unbeknown to the enterprise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dynatrace has an eye toward the fixture of application monitoring, as we move to micro-services, cloud and beyond. Some newer product developments will be leveraging AI and I’m excited to see what we can gain from those insights,

Painless and Handfull

What do you like best about the product?
The most lovely aspect of Dynatrace is that its user friendliness and amount of information it provides for the end user. As a developer I’ve always found interesting to trace out compile time errors but had difficulties to trace where exactly a run time is originated from. That’s where I liked using monitoring tools but soon found out how painful is to make them work. But with Dynatrace it is easy and the amount of information it offers is something which I cannot find in any other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficult and painful part of Dynatrace is that it is not great when it comes to automation. There are not many API’s for an end developer to levarage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with multiple clients to make their Devops environment get automated. We use Dynatrace as a monitoring tool for most of these cloud environments there by enabling users to fully know about their environment.

What do you like best about the product?
My clients are mostly relatively new to Devops platform so we encourage them to experiment with different tools so far our clients are happy with dynatrace for their dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace don’t gives us the option of integrating their front end in to the other applications. My clients had to use th dynatrace front end for monitoring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s that we give more options to our clients when it comes to adoption of devops. Some of our have asked for dynatrace so we had to integrate that in to our platform. More customer satisfaction
