Displays all activities of production from A to z. Highly Configurable.. Features like Custom dashboard gives user flexibility to customize the product according to need. Detailed analysis of errors and exceptions gives user ability to find any issues with production or analyze the existing bug.
What do you dislike about the product?
Load speed is slow. Needs some improvement there.

Application product monitoring.

Great to use and actually best in the current market.

4. Process Grouping, Service Grouping - It auto detects the process and the services and groups the relevant services.
5. Service flow - which Helps us the service call flow

What do you dislike about the product?
1. No download option for reports
2. No confirmation button while changing the settings
3. AIX instrumentation for java services - this feature should also be automated. So that it saves lot of time.. I personallly feel that for AIX, we are still in APPMON era.

1. No more agent instrumentation
2. No more analysis required as this tool is doing deep dive analysis
3. No more manual grouping creations based on processes, services, technology

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation and effectiveness of monitoring. Constant improvements to the product.

If dynatrace managed instance can be setup as a container for auto scaling.

Trying to build a single painted glass for infrastructure monitoring, log monitoring and application monitoring.
Dynatrace is the solution for identifying performance issues rather quickly

We test before we go live using this’d tool which helps to tune and meet our performance goals efficiently

What do you like best about the product?
The deep visibility from end user’s browser deep into the java code and across the main tiers including mainframe and back again. No longer do I need to rely on application documentation and/or someone’s memory to determine dependencies and impacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not as seemless and easy as marketing/sales/the videos make it look. I think the dash boarding could be better especially the ability to workflow but I hear there are many improvements in the next release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are attempting to measure business impact of infrastructure incidents in our production environment. In the past it was done in a variety of inconsistent ways including ‘“gut feeling.” We are starting to realize the benefits and take the emotions out of this analysis…just the facts and the facts are in the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My experience has manly been with appmon but if you’re coming from ca APM, it’s a shift in mindset. CA provides summary data on every metric and details on demand. Appmon is opposite, rich details with summary data only available when you configure it. It’s easy to get lost in the details and I’m glad I had wily first so I knew what type of metrics I needed summary/historic data.
Tracking and finding the root cause in just 3-4 clicks
What do you like best about the product?
The most powerful feature of Dynatrace is its pure path. The error dashlets and Respone Time Hotspot dashboard make it very easy to trace the root cause of an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace has a lot of good features in terms of tracking the root cause of an issue but it does not provide all the details by default such as it provides only part of the data base query and not the entire query

Tracking the root cause of an issue . Understanding the user experience and designing our load tests accordingly.
WOW experience at Perform 2018
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the event was the launch of the new features of Dynatrace. I was impressed with the new features especially the playback part.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that i have disliked so far.

Application performance issues. It has assisted developers to pinpoint exactly where the problems were and have them addressed
