Great software with a lot of power

What do you like best about the product?
This program allows you to see practically any problem, error, time costs you have in the monitored nodes, at what point it is (service calls, connection with the database, queries, connection with the client) and I consider it essential in the monitoring of a web application.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the beginning of using it, it can be complex to find all its functionalities and know them unless someone instructs you. In fact, after having used it for a while, I am convinced that some of them still elude me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any problem related to my company's web application allows you to see what the problem is and locate it very quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One must have knowledge of computer science to be able to use this software, and also know the functionalities it has to take advantage of it.

Preferct to trace performance message from end to end

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see the execution time event the time of an SQL query but also the query itself. So it is easier to find bottleneck functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gui interface is quite complex and heavy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with some DB2 queries and it allowed us to enhance them but also some latency on rest calls and allowed us to enable gzip message to have better performance messages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best is to call a consultant from Dynatrace to help you install the tool and give a course for its usage. It is very good to debug in a QA environment but try to not use it in production if possible.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s one of the powerful tool for tracing and reporting the web services

The Ease of configuration is little complex

Dynatrace agents are installed over all servers where we services are hosted , which will help in identifying the bottle necks of the delayed SLA

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace allowed us to dig into our code to fix memory leaks that existed in our legacy code base. Minimized the amount of work need by developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit of a cryptic tool to learn off the bat, so need to allow time for learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memory leaks which led to application performance issues

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement. Monitoring applications is very easy without any training or past experinece . Interface is easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much issues noticed, sometime memmory issues faced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to ensure application running continously without any server related interruption to support smooth experience to end customer.
Major bnefit is you can catch the issue in proactive manner and handle the problem in time wothout disrupting business critival application.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Dynatrace provide more granular detail of the issue. We are mostly relaying on Dynatrace monitoring tool for our business websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to navigate to exact issue. Previously, we were using Keynote and moved to Dynatrace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To monitor the performance and availability of the website.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is one of the best monitoring tool, I have been using for years now. It is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed it little disappontment. It takes some time to load different dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful for monitoring and analysis for real time transactions.

What do you like best about the product?
We can filter based on applications and our user IDs. If there are 100s of applications in the server and I am interested in only 3 of them, i can easily filter the applications through this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am satisfied with this product and it serves my purpose. I could not come up with some thing which I don't like about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Quality Assurance Engineer. I use dynatrace to analyse the performance of my application i.e. every page in detailed analysis. Also, I use dynatrace to track down the exceptions and errors which occur in the server.

I also use dynatrace to identify the bottlenecks of the application by proactively finding the error before the code is deployed to production.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am satisfied with the product and I will definitely recommend this product for the software engineers.
