What do you dislike about the product?
So far not observed anything on Panorama devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the best Product by Palo Alto for NGFW management.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing a firewall could be a tricky task as it handles the security of the infrastructure and all the network goes via that device to the internet. If you have an infrastructure which has more than 10+ sites, it is quite evident that managing a large number of firewall and keeping them updated all the time could be challenging and Panorama solves that problem by providing all your firewall at your infrastructure under a single dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you try to push a change in the network to mitigate a vulnerabilities, and if all the firewalls is not synced up with Panorama then you might face issues in pushing some change in your network. You need to make sure that all the firewall which sits under Panorama are synced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a large number of NGFW products and efficiently solving daily problems with Panorama and Palo Alto Support team.
Panorama is helpful, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Panorama can help for managing the administration of a large number of Palo Alto firewalls. There are device groups and templates that can ease administrative efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is at least one functional issue, one being the timeout. If you're using the context view in Panorama to manage a device directly, it doesn't seem to log that as active time on Panorama itself, so it will still log you out while you're in the middle of an active session. There is also a rather steep learning curve to get the templates/device groups and general mass management down correctly, so plan to spend a good deal of time researching and taking classes if you can..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have devices all over the globe, so being able to manage devices at scale was a must. We can use templates and device groups in Panorama to push mass changes to all the affected devices rather easily. It is also possible to push software and PAN-OS updates from Panorama as well.

Palo Alto Panorama, a very comprehensive and intuitive firewall console
What do you like best about the product?
I have to say that what I like most about Panorama and what makes it much better than Juniper are the logs, they are great, allowing you to perform a multitude of searches by filtering in many different ways. The console is very intuitive and everything is easily found, allowing you to manage a large number of firewalls easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Panorama is the access to the device itself; when you enter, it takes you out of Panorama, and you can't be interacting in both places, and it is quite slow. Then, in Palo Alto in general, in the small firewalls, there is a very big limitation of zones, and for us, it poses a big problem since we work a lot with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, it is crucial to have Panorama since we manage an immense number of Firewalls, and managing them one by one would waste a lot of time. It makes our lives much easier when a flow fails, and we have to check the logs; you quickly find where the traffic is getting stuck. The daily task of entering policies is very simple for us with this console. Another very interesting thing is the multizone, which allows you to reuse the same policy for several zones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering using Palo Alto, I recommend it to you, we are very happy with them and it is what we are currently implementing.
