Easy to set up, ultra low latency, great support

Ant Media Server has been simple to get started with, and provides a lot of useful functions out of the box.

We use it for streaming real time video feed from drones during BVLOS flights and Ant Media Server is one of the few solutions on the market that provide low enough latency to conduct such flights safely, even when the UAV and the pilot are hundreds of miles apart.

Customer and technical support have always been quick to respond and maximally helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Great documentation, understandable swagger ,stable and efficient performance for live stream, and full time support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing broadcast settings from rest api can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publishing and showing live stream on different codec and format.

We have been using Antmedia's Android and iOS SDK for video conference solution for last 6 months. Initial days, We faced lot of issues due to lack of updated documentation for SDKs. But, recently they updated docs for all platforms. Overall, The peer to peer, multi track conference is working fine and support team help also Fine. But, the Antmedia team needs to enhance their frameworks and offer fixes for the iOS picture in picture and reconnection issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it can be self hosted or can be hosted in the cloud its very usefull in the edu space with there free lic
What do you dislike about the product?
The gui can be a bit annoying at times and setting up webrtc can be a bit annoying

We are a small startup business looking for a media server that had low latency. Ant Media hit the mark on everything we needed. It was easy to setup on AWS and connect our streaming camera! We would highly recommend Ant Media if your looking to stream live video to multiple users!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Ant Media Server is its exceptional real-time performance, seamless HLS playback, extensive device support, and robust WebRTC capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is the admin panel, which could benefit from additional options for configuring server settings through a more user-friendly graphical interface (GUI).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ant Media Server is instrumental in addressing our live commerce app's needs by significantly reducing our video streaming platform costs. Its seamless integration with AWS is particularly beneficial, as it eliminates the necessity for third-party live streaming services, thereby streamlining our operations and reducing dependencies

What do you like best about the product?
Antmedia server is very easy to use. Our focus is mobile application. We developed the backend and mobile application. We trusted Antmedia for livestreaming and it did not disappoint our trust since the first day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more documentation on setting up different cloud services.But I see that they are taking very fast and biggest steps in this regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ant media server has low latency streaming and rest api. Our best advantages that.

We've found AMS to be a good choice for auctions. We looked at various options, and few offered this level of ultra low latency.

It's not a managed solution, so we've had to invest some time in setting things up and fixing errors reported by users (adding a TURN server into the mix did a lot to help with those), but overall we haven't had to spend a lot of time on it – Ant Media do the heavy lifting – so it's been cost-efficient.

Also, Ant Media have been extremely helpful and generous about providing support when we've asked for help with something.
