Friendly, conversational and professional
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent customer support and very easy to set up! The engineer I worked with, Bryce Wagner, guided me through each step, from configuring logs to connecting with our analytics workspace. He even set up a test environment on his end to replicate the issue and ensure everything would run smoothly. The implementation was quick, and the platform itself is very user-friendly. Overall, a great experience, smooth setup, and responsive support.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes so far; the platform has been easy to manage, with great customer support when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging

What do you like best about the product?
The product itself has been easy to use and administer. I especially like the straightforward process of defining Google Cloud Storage integration. But importantly, I found it extremely easy to set up through the Google Cloud Platform marketplace offering. I am moderately capable with GCP's services, but by no means an expert, so the advantage of having it well-packaged for deployment makes it stand out. I've also requested support from the Thorn team, and they've been very responsive and able to solve my issues (confusion on my part, not product) within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not found anything to report. I'm always willing to suggest enhancements if I feel the need, but nothing so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to allow suppliers of sensitive data to send to our company's platform securely.
A perfect solution
What do you like best about the product?
From the product to the team, SFTP Gateway is a critical part of our infrastructure. SFTP Gateway is rock solid and dependable. And the sales and support staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind but I need to reach a minimum character limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an sFTP that could seamlessly integrate with AWS S3.
Super easy and user friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
This product solved my problem in minutes. Was able to get services to Google Cloud in no time at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about the product at this time.

I am using it to send files from vendors to Google Cloud Storage.
It's simple. It works.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the seamless integration with existing cloud infrastructure and the support for multiple cloud environments. The quick setup and support from the Thorn Technologies team make the experience smooth and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to offer users an option for moving their files in a web broswer, but another Thorn Technologies product, StorageLink, currently handles this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables you to transition from an outdated, restrictive solution to a more flexible, self-managed system. Because it’s deployed in the organization’s private cloud environment, third parties don’t handle the data like with other file transfer solutions.
Easy Solution and Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
Thorn's SFTP Gateway was a simple solution to a recurring problem we needed to handle in the short term. Something that would have taken hours for my team to implement was done quickly and effectively, saving our team so much time! We could not ask for a better partner in Thorn, their customer support is always phenomenal!

Great Product - SFTP GW
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part about SFTP GW is the ease of use for the technical / non technical resources. Also the customer service is outstanding and a model representation of what support should look like in todays world. This is also a very easy initial deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previous versions have required more configuration on the instances themselves but new releases have helped square that number away significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are replacing a recent solution that could not perform to expectation.
Excellent solution that does the job
What do you like best about the product?
The product is easy to setup and deploy. I was up and running with it minutes. User management is also very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I dislike about SFTP Gateway. It does what it is supposed to do and is very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SFTP Gateway is a quick file hosted SFTP server solution that is a good alternative to the cloud specific choices.
Awesome simplified product, awesome team behind it
What do you like best about the product?
Deployment flexability, the fact is was it was vetted through GCP marketplace for a simple one click deployment. Any issue I encountered the Thron Tech team were able to assist almost immediatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Docs at the time were a tad outdated or were geared more towards AWS deployments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrating from legacy SaaS tool to a more self hosted experience for better manageability
