What do you like best about the product?
Deployment flexability, the fact is was it was vetted through GCP marketplace for a simple one click deployment. Any issue I encountered the Thron Tech team were able to assist almost immediatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Docs at the time were a tad outdated or were geared more towards AWS deployments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrating from legacy SaaS tool to a more self hosted experience for better manageability

Ease of use and setup, excellent and knowledgeable customer support.

Simple and Great
I hope this isn't a duplicate review.... but we're finally ready for "go live" for our need for this and I spent more time tweaking the configuration and such...
Anyway - this is such a good 'simple' solution for setting up a HIPAA compliant sFTP setup. I tried the AWS native product - way too complicated (and expensive), and found this. They are very responsive with support needs. Overall, though, once you understand the setup and flow, this is very easy to manage. Very easy to add new external users. The whole thing is simple and great.

What do you like best about the product?
The Quick and Detailed support and easy UI interface for people to use it. Great Customer Support and lot of important features availed via its UI

None i can think of at moment or in my experience of using it for over a year

It gives a quick and simple onboarding interface for all my SFTP plants, allowing the onsite teams to directly configure setup and transfer of files without involvement of the technology team
Easy to Integrate and Phenomenal Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Setup and Integration. The Customer Support is beyond the best. Willing to do whatever it takes. My support agent Bryce is hands down the best, clearly customer obsessed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could dowload a PPK file directly from the UI, currently only supports PEM authentication files which then must be converted to PPK with Putty.

Help me transport files directly into my GCS bucket from third parties.
The perfect SFTP solution
I look back on the days of running our own SFTP server and wonder what we were thinking. SFTP Gateway is a phenomenal product, and makes everything incredibly easy. We rest easy knowing we have a secure and well-designed system running, and files are stored directly in our global S3 buckets. Oh, and the customer support is top notch. Can't recommend them enough!

The command line (CLI) to aumate most of my day to day taks

There is nothing to dislike here; everything is working perfectly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our customers (many of them) who do not like to interact with AWS S3, that is the solution for us with the cloud connection to AWS

Thorntech support is beyond excellent!!!

It would be difficult to configure the SFTP client without the excellent support provided by Thorntech support engineers

The use of Thorntech documentation and its proper use
Perfect for our needs
We needed a drop-in replacement for a legacy FTP service that is no longer secure. SFTP-Gateway was the perfect fit. It's much easier to set up and manage than AWS Transfer Family products. Since it uses S3 buckets on the backend, I can mount those S3 buckets on the EC2 instances where I need it.

Their out of the box setup with cloudformation templates on AWS made it a breeze to get up and running quick

Had minor issues with setting up certs but that was more an error on my part and their support team quickly helped me resolve it

They are solving my need for clients to upload files securly and easily for my team to access
