Firstly, the granularity feature of the solution allows it to build granular rules to access different applications. Secondly, the capacity to view the connection is another valuable feature of the solution.
What needs improvement?
The user interface should be improved as it is not very easy to work with the updates.

I have been using Appgate SDP for five years.

I directly contact Appgate's technical support and seek guidance from them. The support answers your questions very fast. I rate the technical support a nine out of ten.

How was the initial setup?
For the initial setup, one needs to know if they want to configure the solution. It is not intuitive. When I started with the solution, it was not very easy, so I will rate the setup phase a five out of ten. After studying it and finding it easy now, I rate the initial setup an eight out of ten.
I only have a relation with the update in the lab environment, not the deployment.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is according to the market price. It is not a very cheap solution. They have some very aggressive promotions to sell the product in the market.
What other advice do I have?
Firstly, one needs to understand the difference between a conventional VPN and Appgate because the application needs to have a one-on-one interaction with the user. The network view is the second step of the VPN, while the first is the interaction. Secondly, for the security of the solution, you need to generate a hard panel between the application and the user.
It is a good product. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.

The connection will be established automatically after our computer or laptop has started. It has a simple and user-friendly interface. With just one click you can connect to any highly secure VPN provider.

No aversion to APPGATE SDP, it's a good application, everyone can understand it and above all it's lightning fast.

We use APPGATE SDP, the client that we connect to all VPN providers, so it automatically switches between providers when needed and connects to the provider in no time. It's really fast and extremely secure.

It will get connected automatically on startup of our PC or laptop. It has a simple and easy user interface just one click is enough to connect to any VPN provider which is highly secured. Its user interface and the options, its such a fast application. It had much availability and scalability to connect to the network.

No dislike about the APPGATE SDP, it is a good application and moreover everyone can understand and especially it's superfast.

We use APPGATE SDP is a client which we connect it to all the VPN providers, so automatically it will switch from one provider to other based on requirement and with in a short time it will connect to the provider. It is really fast and highly secured. We have connected to various country VPN using Appgate SDP. Easy to connect and stable.
Overly complicated
I've used Cisco Anyconnect, Zscaler, Permeter81 and even Teleport (goteleport.com). This space is complicated and as a Linux user for 20yrs and administrator I know there is a learning curve. However, this kit required me to manually configure everything with little to no automation for basic install.

It shows individual connections with which you are connected and it becomes easy to find the node which has any connecting issue. This saves time to analyse the affected node.

As such there is nothing to dislike I have been using it for more than a year and I like it. It is fast and the user interface is very easy to understand. I have other applications also but I rarely or do not use them because Appgate SDP looks familiar and easy to use.

The main problem solved by Appgate SDP is that is shows the connectivity with the individual nodes, so there is no need to waste time in finding the connectivity issue with any node. You just have to take a look at its dashboard and you will find everything there.
