Great value product with excellent customer support.
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Kemp Loadmaster in both physical HA and virtual HA pairing versions, over 4 different implementations over the last decade. Loadmaster proved to be a well-featured product for a fraction of the price of competitor products. We currently use it to publish ~60 sites or services. Kemp customer support has always been excellent in terms of response time and resolution. One one occasion, I also employed their professional services who were also knowledgeable and helped us reach our objectives. Online documentation is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little dated but serves its purpose. For some new users, the learning curve can be a bit steep to get used to the terminology and way things work, but I've solved that by using examples for them to copy when configuring new stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially, replacing end-of0life competitor product used for reverse-proxying a few websites. Now used from ~60 sites and services ranging from load balancing to single servers sites with a nicely fronted hostname, certificates and sometimes things like header re-writes when the back-end server is a bit cruddy, along with OWASP based WAF features.
Great proxy and load balancer

What do you like best about the product?
I have been in a organization that has used Kemp for almost 10 years, I can say it is top notch and will remain for many years to come we use it as a Reverse proxy, WAF and Load Balancer. If I have a problem I pick up the phone and support is always helpful, is the best vendor I deal with by far.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has has a few CVEs in the last year or so, progress however usually sends a update to customers before the CVE is public which is nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use KEMP as a door for untrusted devices to hit our network from the WAN, I can say with the snort signatures that can be imported and the modsecurity WAF that it does filter alot of the noise before it hits our servers.
We also have some services internally that need we need redundancy on and this does exactly that

Initial configuration required an engineer. Swapping out certificates is a bit of an issue, and you need to watch for security updates periodically.

We use this in conjunction with Vmware Horizon VDI. it alllows us to have redundancy in that environment.
