What do you like best about the product?
I have been Using Nakivo for about a year now (I was coming from Veeam) and have found the backup performance remarkable, the interface is very simple and user-friendly and it is easy to create your backup plan.
Very happy with the choice I made.

I've been using Nakivo for almost a year now and I haven't found any major flaws, simply everything works!

Efficient and Affordable Backup Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo offers an excellent price-to-feature ratio – it’s easy to set up, provides fast backup. and it works flawlessly. The built-in multi-tenant support is a big advantage for MSPs, allowing centralized management while also giving customers access when needed. Additionally, their support team is fast and professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have more integrations with third-party services, such as Zabbix templates. Sometimes, the documentation is slightly outdated.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication helps us ensure reliable data protection and disaster recovery, particularly for our Nutanix environment. It provides efficient and fast backups
Our experience with Nakivo at UAM-X
What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo is a tool that meets our expectations, backups of virtual servers are performed efficiently, saving storage space. Simple implementation. Recovery from backups has been fast and effective, its interface is very intuitive and simple. and Technical support has always responded quickly and accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I didn't like was that it was not in Spanish, but in version 11 several languages were added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the backup of virtual servers, with the advantage of being able to recover in a matter of minutes any server that has presented any damage to the information or the operating system.

What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The cost aspect and the ease of licensing, along with simplified licensing, are most valuable. Deduplication, compression, and encryption features are delivered across most products.
We have used it on Windows but haven't had the opportunity to implement their console on Linux. The VM, restore, and file recovery capabilities are considered gold standards. Additionally, the replication capability in Quest ensures delivery.
What needs improvement?
They had given a feature of real-time replication which they stopped in NAKIVO. When we wanted to sell, they backed out, and currently, it is not available across platforms.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using Quest Rapid Recovery for over 15 years, which started as a company called AppAssure. NAKIVO has been used for many years, with implementations in various environments.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
These are world-standard products and they don't require much attention. They are built with newer technology and processes, needing less support.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is capable and reliable in terms of scalability.
How are customer service and support?
These products don't need much support. They are equipped with newer technology, requiring less attention. Nonetheless, their support is good and responsive when required.

We have used Veritas Backup Executive and have been using Quest Rapid Recovery, which started as AppAssure.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is fine, and it doesn't take much effort.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The product is affordable even for smaller organizations.

Alternative solutions include Quest, Veritas Backup Executive, and AppAssure, among others.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate the solution a seven out of ten overall. There is a need for products and services that will help for MSP-employed services for backup. We are always looking for alternatives and are not confined to specific products. It is important that solutions work efficiently for our use cases.
A very versatile and rock solid product
What do you like best about the product?
I really like all of the options available for backup targets, as well as backup destinations. I can backup local, to the cloud, to tape.
On top of that the features like retention period and immutability is just awesome. You can also backup Office 365! That is a game changer

What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the agents get updated at the same time. For instance Synology updates are very slow to come out which can prevent you from updating your server.

Allows me to backup local, remote, and cloud targets on a single interface.
A very good solution to the problem of Backup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and the simplicity of Nakivo. Other solutions i have tried have been clunky and non-intuitive, but i found Nakivo to be easy to find my way around. Simple yet effective tech, backed up with great support. The initial offer of a tech meeting to help you get setup was gamechanging for me.

Nothing at all, I really like Nakivo, what more can i say?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Nakivo solves the problem of multi source backup simply and in one product. Our previous software supplier had two products to perform the same.

What do you like best about the product?
Our experience with Nakivo has been very good. We positively value the optimal results in terms of performance and reliability that the solution offers us. Whenever we have had problems, the support department has been able to solve it for us. We recommend this product since the results are very good at a low cost.

NAKIVO SAFE AND EASY
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Nakivo, I can use external storage like a NAS server to manage and store backups and replications.

Nothing, because it is very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Experience has been exceptional with Nakivo. From support to account management. Always someone available to help with either renewals or support of the product. I have had to reach out to support a couple of times for issues or help and there has been someone available immediately and able to help me quickly. I have recommended this product in the past and will continue to recommend in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t came across anything I dislike yet about this product. It is very easy to manage and support team is always helpful.

We have been using NAKIVO Backup & Replication for our backup and replication solution for the last 6 years. We needed to minimize the impact of ransomware incidents on our business continuity and ensure that our data is easily recoverable. NAKIVO Backup & Replication has made that possible with ease.
