What do you like best about the product?
Using an on premiss access server for many years now. It works fine, is stable and performant, and brings security to the home office users.
It integrates fine with Active Directory, and client configurations are versatile to implement. Some of us have a 24/7 permanent connection from home office to the headquaters.

What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a site-to-site ssl tunnel option which I would like to configure from my home Zyxel Flex500 router

Easy to Deploy VPN Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I have used OpenVPN at two startups I worked at and personally. My teams use the VPN daily. They offer a free license with all features for up to two concurrent users making it easy to evaluate before committing. It offers key features like SAML auth and advanced VPN configurations. It also is very easy to deploy via AWS or GCP marketplace or just installing via a package manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not cheap once you need more that 2 concurrent users. I wish they would offer another tier that was cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access private cloud VPCSs
Easy to use and great docs to set up
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create own VPN with a few steps using AWS
What do you dislike about the product?
The management console can be a bit confusing and setting up the config file properly took some time to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create VPN that routes through EC2 instance so that users can access sites with whitelisted IP address.
Very good product!
What do you like best about the product?
- the appliance is very reliable: never had a single bug (except when I make a configuration mistake)
- easy to set up
- can be updated easily
- responsive customer support

What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty keeping the OS up to date below however: I had to restore the VM several times due to bugs, and as a result, I preferred to set up an appliance from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow my clients to securely connect to their workstations
I would say that as an evolution, there should be a solution to limit client access to certain IPs... but maybe that's a structural limitation of the VPN?!

Value for Money vpn solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of signing up, ease of installation, ease of creating vpn tokens, and administering. Most importantly very cost effective as users grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users have to jump from 2 free to 5 paid. So, if you want 3 or 4 users, it's not possible and you will end up paying for unused licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating private vpn
Good cloud vpn access software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure , allow me to manage access to my AWS ec2s
What do you dislike about the product?
Not working when using Fortinet client.
User management interface.
User management interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acssess management to AWS EC2 instances
Good solution but getting more expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to deploy and setup end client software. We like that you can combine a license to achieve volume discount and apply across multiple access servers (e.g. buy a 50 user license for 2 different deployments where you fluctuate between 15 and 30 users on each server). You get license usage alerts to know when you're nearing capacity and can easily adjust the concurrent user count each month as needs change.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricies have increased in recent years without any new features or value add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote worker access to on-premise assets (e.g. server shared folders) while maintaining user permissions.
First time deployed, long time user
What do you like best about the product?
documentation for the AWS image/appliance was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating SSO to the system (not the application) with our AWS AD using realm proved problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
2FA with SSO and securing remote access for our production network
VPN Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely fast and easy to get setup. We use OpenVPN across our infra running in multiple locations. It's nothing but solid, we've never had a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely having to install a new version each time an update happens. It does also jump from free to pretty expensive quickly for smaller companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing secure access into our infrastructure.
