We are very happy with OpenVPN
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, easy to use, we install, setup and forget it. It's always on and we secure all of our development and reporting servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
$9 per user if you have 10 ore more clients.
$7 per user if you have less than 10 clients.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need secure connection to our development and reporting services. OpenVPN makes the life easier for us to manage this secure access.
Great VPN at an affordable price
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to many of the alternatives, OpenVPN strikes a great balance between feature and price making it a great option for businesses and even small-to-medium enterprises

Nothing specifically but maybe the lack of 2FA support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes adding a VPN to the teams daily process quick and easy
Worked very well and met the needs of our business
What do you like best about the product?
Setup was easy and deploying was very easy as well. This worked well when other VPN options did not. The price was also good as well. We were using about 20 concurrent licenses, and the server we used was specced pretty low and we never had an issue.

There wasn't really anything that we would change about it.

Our other VPN was not functioning.

What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN has significantly improved our network security and remote work capabilities. It's easy to use, supports all our devices, and keeps our data safe. OpenVPN has been essential for maintaining secure, seamless connections for our team, wherever they are.

Configuration options, while powerful, can be overwhelming, requiring some time to fully master.

OpenVPN Access Server lets our team work remotely without risking our data. It makes our work flexible and keeps our information safe.

- the appliance is very reliable: never had a single bug (except when I make a configuration mistake)

What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty keeping the OS up to date below however: I had to restore the VM several times due to bugs, and as a result, I preferred to set up an appliance from scratch.

I would say that as an evolution, there should be a solution to limit client access to certain IPs... but maybe that's a structural limitation of the VPN?!

What do you like best about the product?
documentation for the AWS image/appliance was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating SSO to the system (not the application) with our AWS AD using realm proved problematic.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely fast and easy to get setup. We use OpenVPN across our infra running in multiple locations. It's nothing but solid, we've never had a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely having to install a new version each time an update happens. It does also jump from free to pretty expensive quickly for smaller companies.
