Analysis of Jaspersoft Reporting Features
What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft is capable of rendering reports with complex table structures, including nested layouts and multi-level groupings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upgrade process between versions is time-consuming and requires considerable effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft addresses the need for customizable, embeddable reporting within our applications. It allows us to design and deliver interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations with fine-grained control over data presentation.
It solves our key problems like - Role-based access to reporting, supporting secure and personalized data delivery and Automated scheduling and distribution of reports, reducing manual effort

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to navigate the UI when designing reports
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like there is no cloud platform for us to give out and make dashboards for customers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are making analytic reports via Jaspersoft, the benefits initally were great due to PDF reports being able to be exported and printed out

What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, and for what I usually use it for- formatting, adding static text, etc.- the 'dashboard' is fairly easy and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I lack in xml and coding and so I know I'm missing out because of this. I feel like there are endless possibilities with this program! The platform can be overwhelming but once you use it a few times, you get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to change and create reports that our SIS database spits out. It has saved my butt numerous times so I don't have to call our SIS database's technical support.
CloudFormation template has wrong version in description fields
The AMI ids are correct, but the description fields for the security group and the EC2 instance still say the old version:
